The story takes place after the Great Ninja War, when Sasuke is under house arrest. 1k+ words. Enjoy!

"Oi, Teme!" Naruto called out for the nth time before slurping on another mouthful of ramen.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted, trying to make it seem as though he were paying attention to his idiot friend.

"Did you not hear me the second time? Geez, you've been zoning out like crazy!"

"Dobe, what do you want," Sasuke asked boredly in a monotone voice.

"Sakura-chan began going out with someone!" Immediately, Sasuke stiffened. Sai spit out his ramen. Kakashi actually put down his book.

"Continue," Kakashi said darkly.

"Ah, well I was walking around with Hinata-chan, and—aw isn't Hina-hime the cutest? She's so—"

"Dickless, it seems you're quite obsessed with the weird girl that stutters when faced with dilemmas. Could it be a strange fetish?"

"Wha...? Sai! Shut up!"

"I said," Kakashi began. "Finish," Both Sasuke and Kakashi ended simultaneously.

"Oh, well now you care, Teme! It's too late."

"Usuratonkachi."

"Teme!"

"Baka."

"Teme!"

"Dickless."

"Wh—! Sai! You're not in this!"

"Guys," Kakashi said calmly. "We need to know more about this guy."

"Hn, I agree."

"Teme, you're just jealous Sakura-chan isn't fawning over you! Don't pretend you don't care about her, I've seen you staring at her!"

"Tch, why would I care? She can do whatever she wants. She's a full-fledged kunoichi that can take care of herself."

Kakashi sighed, picking up his book. And he thought Sasuke had learned to love. It would take so much longer. A thought struck him. "Who is she going out with?" He asked lazily.

Naruto beamed. "Gaara!"

"The red head with no eyebrows? That's an interesting choice," Sai commented.

"I've seen them hanging out before. Sakura-chan seems really happy, and Gaara smiles from time to time. But," Naruto paused. "They don't get to see each other that often."

"Hm, poor Ugly. Just when things were going her way, too."

"Oi, Sai! Don't call Sakura-chan 'Ugly'!"

"It's only a nickname. I read this book that you can give friends a 'nickname' that means the opposite."

"Eh? Sai, so you don't think Sakura-chan is ugly?"

"Not really. I just enjoy watching her get happy."

Naruto shivered, thinking of when Sakura punched Sai for calling her ugly. I don't think she was really happy, but Sai thinks so...

Sasuke listened to their conversation half-heartedly. Sakura seems fine with the nickname. It's probably grown on her.

"Hey, Traitor." Sasuke internally rolled his eyes at his nickname. "Aren't you worried about Ugly's boyfriend?"
