~1 year later after the incident with the dragon hollow~

-beep beep beep bee-

I growled and grabbed my alarm throwing it against the wall as it broke into pieces. This was my twentieth alarm and since my first day at the academy starts in a few hours I couldn't waste any time and end up being late.

I soon heard footsteps and looked up to see Aizen open up the door to look at me then to my smashed alarm clock and shook his head, "You must not like those anymore if you keep breaking them all the time."

"Then you wake me up Sosuke, it shouldn't be that hard for you. You're up way before I am." I mentioned to him getting out of bed then grabbed my academy uniform.

He gave me a playful smirk, "Oh? How should I wake you up then?"

I gave him an annoyed look, "Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Wake me up however you want I don't care as long as it's not too early and enough time for me to get situated and relaxed. I'm not sure why you trained me so hard it's like you want me to graduate as soon as possible or something."

"Hm, maybe I want a certain someone to be a part of my squad." He replies with a smile.

Before I walked into my bathroom I looked over to him, "Maybe, but you can't predict the future Sosuke," I say then going into the said room to close the door to get ready.

Aizen chuckled and left my room to give me privacy and to make us breakfast. You could say he takes care of me now since both my parents are dead by that hollow that attacked my family and me a year ago.

Once I came back out of the bathroom with myself fully dressed and ready I grabbed my backpack which I packed the night before and held on to it walking to the kitchen where I smelled bacon and woke up instantly and grinned. I saw Aizen also cooking eggs and pancakes too.

He looked over his shoulder at me with a smile, "Hope you're hungry. I also made rice cakes for your lunch as well. Don't want you to starve."

After he spoke he turned back to cooking the rest of the food and placed good amounts on the two dishes as I sat down at the dining table he has, "I'm pretty hungry actually."

He chuckles as we soon began eating our breakfast as I had to leave right after, "Good luck Shizuki."

I waved a 'thanks' and left closing the door behind me with my backpack over my shoulder and my lunch in my lunchbox in hand. I smiled as I made my way through the house that's a part of his barracks in fifth division and going towards the direction of the soul reaper academy.

On my way there I spot two other people around my age that have the same type of uniforms as one was a female with short black hair and the other was male with bright red spiky hair and tattoos on his face. They seemed to be arguing about something stupid until they noticed me standing there watching the scene as I was about to laugh.

"Who are you?" the red headed male asked.

"It's Shizuki Inuruki. What about you and your friend?" I replied.

"Name's Renji Abarai and this is Rukia Kuchiki. We're just starting out at the soul reaper academy today." Renji replies with a grin.

"I'm guessing it's your first day as well Shizuki?" Rukia asked with a smile.

I giggled, "Yeah it is, but I'm also here to make my parents proud," my tone of voice turned to sadness as I remembered my parents, "they passed away a year ago from an odd looking hollow killing them."

Both Rukia and Renji had depressed looks on their faces as they understood my pain. Rukia walked over and rubbed my back a bit, "You have anyone taking care of you?"
