Hope you'll try at least to read the entire part 💁

...

"...Ishita," He slurred. He does not deserve her and her love that he could not return with the same naturalness, does he? However, this feeling was prickly; making his heart stop beating for a trice, and quicken. It was not a good feeling at all, to know that the woman whom he always loved, still irrevocably does, does not trust him anymore. The matter she was hiding would be sensitive, too close to breaking her down, and he wanted to know it. He wanted to be by her side, this time as reparation for his deed that took her away. "...I promise. I...I just don't know what to promise, because I don't know what you're feeling right now. But believe me, I won't let you down this time; it's a promise, Ishita." He was wretched; she could feel it from his tone and the way he looked at her, apologetically.

That was all that she wanted. Every time he would pledge on changing, and becoming rationale, professing how much he loves her, she would let each unscrupulous phase go into oblivion. That was not bad, was it? She did not know, but a willing-forgetfulness was not a bad trait; it was a way to keep her heart from more harm. She did not know if he would keep his promise. She trusts him, and she knows him. The latter one was what stopping her. She knows him too well, and this man would take just a flicker of an eye to shatter her. He has that power over her, and that impulsive nature still he possessed was a sword mercilessly ripped her. She was completely scared to risk her heart once again. But still, she could not help say, she trusts him; damn, she trusts him but...

"I trust you, Raman." She whispered. "...and I know you." That part was not making him happy; it was sarcastic. What does she mean? He knew, deciphering it would cause both of them pain. Let it be, he mused. "You can take your time, but I won't change and become an asshole again. I won't." He was firm. He should be. She sighed. "I wasn't going to hide it forever from you, Raman." She got up, walking up to the couch, him trailing behind. "...it's just that, I'm not ready for an emotional breakdown right now. Everything's going just fine. Yeah, just fine...and, that's all I needed. I was enjoying this break. Enjoying your love. The new you!" She felt his figure standing close to her, giving her space, to talk; end or continue to the end was her choice. He would listen; huh, he learned to listen to her lately!

Her eyes fell intensely into his prying ones. She wanted to feel everything in his dark orbs when she would lay her heart bare. She did not want to leave any part, where he would feel sad, agonized, disappointed, and...angry! A tint of accusation would fragment her and she was determined not to give this man a chance to hurt her further. She felt like she is stepping into a battlefield, without a weapon at least to defend. "I thought I owe Mani a lot; everyone thought." She chuckled. He was selfish, she did not know for a long, long time. She did not realize how much self-seeking he became; he wanted to keep her with him, at any cost. At the cost of her unborn baby! She gripped his shirt before uttering further; she wanted to feel him close to her, before the impending outburst of him. How much she dreaded this moment.

...

Then; she opened her exhausted eyes to see herself in a hospital. A blurry image of a blast flashed across her sight, making her scream out Ruhi's name. A sudden surge of pain penetrated through her nerves, and the next thing she knew was, she was not feeling anything right. "My Rooh," She was panting at the doctor, the nurse tried calming her down. The look on the man's face made her feel like her womb just melted to death. "You need to control yourself. Everything will be alright..." The doctor consoled. "What's happening...?" She queried looking around; the unknown place was horrifying, and the loneliness adding to that. "You're here from a week, Mrs Ra," The doctor's words cut short. "Ishu,"
