"What the hell!" Simmi groaned. "She's testing my patience, bhabhi...!" She added shooting a glare at Ishita for not stopping her. "Wait a minute, why?" She creased her eyebrows. "Uh-m, nothing," Ishita shook her head caring less about the upshot. "...let her go wake him up." Simmi nodded suspiciously. She could not stomach the fact that Ishita does not care that Shagun has gone to their ex-husband's bedroom! How much she detests that expression but that was what she always says to keep her reputation abreast to Ishita; she would never accept her actual place, even though she knows it well.
Shagun was never proud of herself the way she was at that moment. She could at least snatch a cup of tea, of Raman, if not Raman! That was a breakthrough, was not that? She made sure her saree is in place, the blouse would steal his attention, and he would be forced to compliment her. She is gorgeous after all! That would be another milestone; she was blushing. Holding the doorknob, she took a deep breath and pushed it open. The breath she exhaled turned to a loud inhale when her eyes fell on Raman's bare back. He was sleeping on his front, the quilt covering him until his waist as he breathed evenly. She hoped he has worn a slack; not that she cared, but still; she was unsure if she would be embarrassed or desperate! Hell, that reminded her of her celibacy; her mind was never pure in this category though.
"Ahem," Shagun cleared her throat. She was feeling dry, and extremely aroused is an understatement; he could do this to her even when there was no intent. He might have heard her voice that he stirred; rubbing his nose on the pillow he was cuddling to. Feeling the fluffy pillow in place of her, he groaned. "Ishitaa..." He gritted; she left him alone in the bed, early in the morning as usual, cheating him with a pillow! Cruel! "Ah, go-good morning, Raman." Shagun gulped when the guilt moved down as Raman tossed on his back. He snarled at that; seriously! She could see his white pants as he sat up leaning his back on the headrest; well, he is safe!
He felt uncomfortable under her toxic-eyes. He was not in a presentable state; not after last night! Looking sideways, he harked back to where he threw his shirt away while Shagun stepped closer. Her eyes prying on the marks on his bare chest; she was no innocent not to grasp it. Scratches of love! Ha, he was blushing profusely when he freely caressed his toned abdomen. "Raman," Shagun intervened as she took his shirt from the floor and forwarded. "Oh, thanks." He mumbled, evading eye contact. "Erm, where's Ishita? Di-did you see her?" He did not mean to stumble but still, it was awkward like hell.
"Um, yeah. She's, there..." She gestured outside as his nose crinkled. "...in the kitchen." She felt like Isheeta's personal servant! Argh! "Well, ask Ishita to come over." There was no politeness; he was icy; not even exasperated by her presence. "Of course. I'm here to do that!" She gritted, but he did not care the sarcasm. "Yeah." He agreed. He damn agreed! Shagun kicked the floor furiously before strolling out. "Damn!" Raman fisted his palm as he sat fuming; the morning was worst after the real night he shared with Ishita. She should not have stepped out of the bed in the first place; he would not have to see Shagun's wardrobe challenges.
"I know you jus-just, argh!" Shagun pulled her own hair as she rushed to the kitchen where Ishita was in the middle of boiling milk for Aditya and Pihu; they were still asleep like two little toddlers cuddled together. She did not know when Pihu shifted to Aditya's. Is she a sleepwalker? She finds her waking up in different bedrooms and that was cute! Her baby is cute...! She could not help smile dreamily. "Isheetaaa!" Shagun shrieked. "What?" She rolled her eyes. "You-you were, I mean, cheap. You're so cheap, Isheeta." She knows what but still, what was her problem, Ishita wondered. "What cheap, Shagun?" She could not help enjoy Shagun's frustration. "I know you, Raman, you both, um, you're so, so shameless!" She did not word the matter out but still, her assumptions were clear and right. "You're not clear." She brushed off while turning the gas off. "You seduced Raman last night, I know. How could you stoop to this level. Pathetic!" Finally; she would not accept Raman loves her, would she? Her ways of reasoning makes her laugh at times. Seduction was his area of expertise!
"Stay out of it, Shagun." Ishita clenched her teeth at an already gritting Shagun. "...and what makes you think I'll!" She shot back. "You have to, Shagun. I don't care what you think but be in your limits. It's my life and I'll decide what I'd do. Vent your sexual frustration on someone else, not on my Raman. He's mine. I won't repeat, Shagun." A verbal slap it was that left Shagun stand shocked, mortified, and what not. She did not expect Ishita to lash at her. She was the kind of woman who would cry or go mute once she digs up some old stories, apparently about her first love or Abhimanyu; her infertility shit is no more a card.
"Good morning..." She cooed at him when she stepped inside the room. He wriggled down and pulled the duvet over his head. "It's not good!" He was pissed off. "Is it?" She grinned pulling it down. "What yaar...! You know I can't stand Shagun." He grumbled, sternly. "You know she's, she's bad. Crap." He fumbled with words. "I know that, Raman." She played with his hair. "No, you don't know." He sighed. He is not going to reveal her how many times Shagun approached him, for yeah, obviously, um...sex. She thought a onetime would drag him to her for many times. "What?" Her eyes narrowed. "What?" He shrugged with the same question. "What I don't know about Shagun?"
"Nothing. She's just, a bit too bolder than she used to be. That's all." He wheezed. "Chuck it yaar. Talk about us!" His grin grew wider as he yanked her closer. "What about us?" She looked down. It was too good to know Shagun witnessed what she did not want her to. She should know her place or else, uh, she rather needs a plan to deal with her. She let him snuggle her in his arms. He smelled like her favorite perfume mixed with his cologne; she was all over him last night, chee! "Let's get married today." He whispered. He was not kidding; she could see it in his eyes. "Today?" She gasped; his hold went tighter as if he does not want to listen to a no. "Is that possible, Raman?" She looked away. Obviously, she does not mind other than her worries on how they would do it in a day.
"I don't want anyone to know it." He sighed. "What do you mean, Raman?" She looked muddled up by his statement. "I want to give Shagun a shock!" He beamed like a little kid. That was adorable. "Aww...! You're so cute!" She cupped his face. "But not today," She denied, hands on hips. "Why hurrying... Let me relax, Raman. We'll take it slow." She calmed. "Slow? Like how?" He was annoyed by then. "Like, two days? Yeah, two days. Pihu said she wants to do shopping for our marriage. Isn't that fun!" She shone. "Two days?" He could not believe it is just two days. Here he was thinking she is going to keep him waiting for another seven years. "Even Adi wants to prepare as he wasn't there for our first marriage. So let's wait." She sounded like two days are long like two eons but she wanted it no matter what.
Nevertheless, in two days, anything could happen. He could lose his mind; he could kill Abhimanyu; he could be jailed; he could mess things up like he used to do; many things! Marrying Ishita, now, could have kept him composed and distracted. Her love and presence is enough a distraction though; from last night she started provoking his senses towards Abhimanyu, which was not giving him saneness; he so badly wanted to kill him! He would have been a bit more concerned about her and their kids rather than the other man if they were married, or is it the other way around? He was confused and obviously losing control over his anger; better play it cool for the sake of Ishita. He smiled at her. "Just two days, huh." He pecked her forehead and let his face conceal in her hair as he thought back to her revelations. A distraction does not mean he does not want to think about him. He is indeed thinking about him; every second. Counting down.
Two days 🙄
