Hi guys...

I know many of you were thinking that I've ended this story. But hey, I'm sorry to disappoint you, that was just a question. I didn't mean it 😛 The actual ending would take like, four-five more chapters. I need to cover a few incidents and come to the actual ending, you know.

Plot construction credit of this chapter goes to my assistant tripura1091 with some twists of my own.
Excruciating content ahead 😂

Anyways, try to enjoy reading...🙄🙏

...

"Ahem-ahem!"

Mihir coughed covering his laughter, which did make Ishita blush, though Raman has this straight face for disrupting his flirty-moment. Ishita has sauntered to the kitchen to gush on gossips that her in-laws were engaged in; Simmi would not wash that smirk off her face anytime sooner, nor would Toshi. "He was...erm, introducing..." Ishita trailed scratching her scalp nervously. "We haven't asked you anything!" Simmi rolled her eyes, much to Ishita's embarrassment. She should have kept quiet.

"Ishima," Aditya jumped forwards as he took a piece of cake. "...thanks!" He grinned cheekily as he walked away leaving Ishita smiling. She has not done anything to be thanked. He sure has a tongue that always chants her name! "He's so cute! My baby!" She looked on dreamily. There was everyone, rejoicing; getting together, finally. On the other side, is her parents, who are not visibly happy with the fact that she has reconciled with Raman, easily; remarried him. They might be having their own reasons but she could not abide them.

It was not easy, was it? No. It was nowhere easy to get back together. Maybe the time they have taken was less, and hassled. Nevertheless, it was hell those days; near each other, but far away. They have taken this step, because they have lost many years. They did not want any more spaces between them; it was enough living in chaos. However, no one would understand it, especially her parents. Justly, it was the same attitude she wanted to maintain around Raman, but could not. Right now, she could feel the pain, the anger that nags her for her parents' cold behavior; she did right by not pretending coldness for long towards Raman. She could not even think of letting him suffer this stress and be the reason of it.

"What?" He asked when she was playing with her fingers, lying on her back in the bed. Her lips pouted dubiously as she looked on at the way her fingertips touched rhythmically, unknotting the hold, and tying it back, and continued her little antics. "Nothing." She shrugged. "No, there's something. Tell me," He said moving closer. She shook her head; there is no way she would tell him what she is thinking. It was crazy! It was not not crazy but it seemed, crazy! "Tell me, Ishita." His thumb outlines her lips those parted involuntarily. "You can't seduce it out, Raman. I said, nothing. That means, there's no-thing." She grinned; he wheezed looking away. She would not tell him what she was thinking; what she was thinking this keenly?

"So, erm..." He staggered, looking everywhere but her. "Let's...sleep?" His eyebrows rose nervously. This is the same man who would attack her lips without a notice and have his way with her!? She remembered the couch, shit! What has possessed him right now?! She broke into fits of laughter. "Raman, you...!" She poked her index finger on his chest as she laughed her heart out watching his flushed face. The view of him blushing is a rare thing to behold; he looked handsomerrr! "Look woman, I was trying to be decent!" He gritted as he realized how insane it is of him to be all formal and nervous around her. Chuckling, he dropped in the bed on his font, burying his face in the pillow, blinking at her from sideways. "Seriously, we should sleep! I'm tired for tonight's ritual! Postpone it." He grimaced closing his eyes. He could feel her adoring eyes on him but did not dare open his eyes and see the enticing face of hers. It would prove tiresome afterwards!
