I hate love

When I don't have it
I truly love
Loving someone else
I truly love
Loving people
I don't love
When I am disappointed
I don't love
When I don't have love
I may seem like
A heartless monster
With no feelings at all
And no love inside me
However it's hard to love
Something that doesn't love you back
From the beginning of my days
I have only loved
I go above and beyond
For those special people
Or that special person
But love hates me
Deep down
In the inner workings
Of my heart
There is a lot of love
But showing it
Can be the hardest thing
When I know
I'll never get it back
