Sorry for any mistakes and stuff I haven't noticed.

The sun shone brightly as it looked over the busy streets of Konoha. It was around midday, the hottest part of the day. Not many clouds appeared in the sky, only a few. The blue sky was reflected from the rivers that ran in some parts of Konoha.

At one particular gate, four people were close to entering the gate. The oldest male had gravity-defying hair, in the colour grey and more than half of his face was covered, either by a mask or the forehead protector. A young boy with dark blue hair shaped as a duck a- rear end, his hands were stuffed in his pockets and a face had no emotion showing. Next to him was a young girl with mid-back length pink hair, who was asking the dark-haired male out with no shame, only to be ignored. Next to her was another young boy with bright yellow, spiky hair, sapphire blue eyes and the cheeky grin plastered on his whiskered face.

As the group of four walked through the gates, after greeting the keepers that seemed happier recently, they were about to go their separate ways, until, "We all have to report to the Hokage." The team leader spoke lazily as he continued to walk towards the red building.

"Aww! Do we have to~!" The yellow-haired boy whined with a pout.

"Yes," The sensei answered uninterested, "The Hokage specifically asked that we all go to report the mission." He informed pulling out the orange book that was always in his weapons pouch.

"Is that what the letter said? The one that the hawk delivered?" The pink haired girl asked curiously. The man simply nodded as he led the way to the Hokage's office.

Upon entering the Hokage's office, the observant ones noticed that the Hokage seemed to have a different emotion on other than the blank look he always gave. "So," he spoke, voice laced with authority. "How was the mission?" He asked.

As the grey-haired male was explaining what happened on the mission, the blonde stared out the window daydreaming.

Meanwhile, a redhead walked into a clean kitchen, opened the cupboards and took out different types of food. She grabbed a wooden cutting board and a knife, from the side. Then she started to chopped the vegetables into neat cubes.

~~~
Hmm, what ramen should I have? The blue-eyed boy questioned himself, looking at the clouds that were visible through the window. A loud yawn escaped from the young boy's mouth, not bothering to uncross his arms from behind his head to cover his mouth.
The sudden loud yawn made the pink haired girl hit him upside the head, scolding him. "Sakura-chan~" he whined, "that hurt~" he continued to complain.
"Naruto." The Hokage called making the short-ish boy look at him with an annoyed look.
"What is it now?" He questioned, irritation clear in his voice, looking at the Hokage with annoyance. But that one look made Naruto shut up. Blue eyes widening in shock. His arms fell to his side as he cast his gaze on the floor. "S-she's..." He choked out unable to finish his sentence, and he didn't have to.
"Yes, Naruto. She's back." The Hokage informed, watching the boy sprint out of the room immediately after those words left his mouth.
The pink haired girl called his name in shock and confusion, then she turned back to the Hokage asking the question that was on everybody's mind that day. "Who's back?"
The old man simply chuckled, "Uzumaki, Mina."
~~~

The door slammed open, making the young redhead jump and look back at the door that was wide open. And there, in the middle of the door, stood a panting young boy, his hand on the door indicating that he was the person to fling the door open.

Both of their eyes widened as they stared at each other. "M-Mimi..." The yellow-haired boy muttered catching his breath.

"N-Naru..." She mumbled, turning the stove off so the place doesn't burn down.

"Why?" He asked quietly, his fist clenching as he cast his head down.

"I-" Mina started to say but she didn't have anything to say, that, and she was cut off from saying anything else by Naruto's shout.

"WHY!? MINA?! HUH?!" He shouted looking at her with an angry expression. "I-I thought we made a p-promise?" His voice became quieter as it trembled with emotion.

"Nar-" She wanted to explain, but again she was cut off by his loud voice.

"YOU LEFT ME! ALONE, TO SUFFER THE PAIN! ALONE!  DO YOU KNOW HOW THAT FELT?!? HUH? NO YOU DON'T! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO ME WHILE YOU WERE AWAY!? FOR THREE YEARS! THREE YEARS!" He shouted, emphasising certain words.

Mina's eyes went blurry as she dropped the wooden spoon she was holding, and threw her gaze down on the floor, making her bangs cover her eyes. "You hate me, don't you?" She whispered, nothing but sadness and regret in her voice. "Heh," A dry laugh escaped her mouth when she noticed that Naruto wasn't responding.

It confirmed her thoughts of Naruto hating her, the silence dragged on and she had no confidence to look up at him. Suddenly, she felt warmth wrapped around her shoulders, instantly making her look up. But the only thing she saw was blurry colours of blue, orange, yellow and red.

"I missed you so much." Naruto's soothing voice rang quietly in her ears. Slowly, Mina brought her hands up and wrapped them around Naruto's torso.

"I was so worried," She sobbed into his shoulder, tightening her hold on him as if thinking he would disappear any moment. "So sacred without you." She sobbed further.

Naruto then released her from the hug and placed his hands on her shoulders. "But you're right," Naruto spoke, his voice changing drastically. Suddenly, Mina was lifted up in the air. Her blue-violet eyes widening in fear and disbelief. "I do hate you." He said bitterly.

"N-Naruto...?" She choked out, due to the lack of oxygen.

"You left me," He tightened his grip on her neck, having a dark look on his face. "What you did is unforgivable, you don't have any reason to live here or anywhere." He tightened his grip further, making Mina choke for oxygen.

"W-what are y-you..?"

"Die, Mina!"

She jolted awake having cold sweat run down her forehead, tears running down her face and dripping off her chin. Her breathing was uneven as she tried to catch it.

The red-haired girl looked around the room and sighed in relief when she saw the bed across the room was occupied by a boy that looked like Naruto, spread across the bed messily. She wiped the stray tears and got out of bed, walking over to the other bed.

Smiling softly when she saw drool hanging out from his mouth, she pets his hair. "Don't worry Naruto, I won't ever leave again." She muttered, letting one last tear roll down her face.

"Promise...?" She heard Naruto mumble in his sleep.

"I won't break a promise ever again, and that's a promise," Mina said seriously, petting Naruto's soft blonde hair a few more times before she went back to her bed. She had promised to never break a promise, and she would keep it. But other people could always get in the way of promises, forcing them to break.

I kinda ran out of things to write in this chap.

If it was confusing, then it shall be explained in the next chapter.

So Yeah, Bye!
