"MINA!" An all too familiar voiced yelled my name. Slowly opening my eyes, the first thing I saw when my vision was pink. Sakura looked at me with a worried and panicked face. "The village is being attacked!" She shouted making me sit up straight in alarm.

Looking around in with wide eyes, I noticed that all of the spectators were either sleeping or under a genjutsu. Guess my hunch was correct. Resisting the urge to whine in annoyance, I quickly kneeled making hand signs and drawing blood from my thumb.

"What are you-?" The pink haired girl tried to ask but I had already slammed my palm on the floor and shouted 'summoning jutsu.' Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw that Kakashi and a Hyuuga were looking at me with wide eyes.

Instead of the blue dragon, a larger green one with purple eyes appeared. He instantly understood why I had summoned him and glided straight towards the enemy ninja that were jumping at us. I don't know what he did but they were all gone. Most likely he ate them.

Seeming to break out of their shock, Kakashi gave me an order, "Go after Sasuke and Naruto. Pakkun will show you the way."

I blinked once, looking at the small brown dog, "this way." He said, but I made no motion of following him. He turned back to me and told me to follow him again but I only stared at him in shock.

"Okay~..... You talk." My eyebrows furrowed in confusion, why was a dog talking? Shrugging it off, I finally followed the mutt and started jumping through the trees next to Shikamaru, yeah, he was forced to join us on this mission.

Scanning the area, my eyes stopped on a certain roof, with a purple wall thing or maybe it was a barrier, it was slightly see through. So squinting my eyes a bit, I managed to make out two figures fighting. I recognised one of them almost instantly, Gramps and some other white dude.

"There's someone following us," Shikamaru informed, snapping me out of my thoughts. Turning my gaze back to the trees we were jumping on, I asked him how many there were. "A few to the left and some from behind." He answered.

Nodding my head, "Alright I'll take the ones on the left, you'll have to figure out who takes out the others." I informed not waiting for an answer. Changing my direction, I sprinted forward to where I sensed some kind of chakra.

Earlier, when Kankuro didn't fight, I knew something was off. Maybe I shouldn't have taken that nap. I  came to a stop when I faced one smirking older enemy, with the other grinning menacingly. But why do I get the feeling something worse is going to happen?

"Well, well, well," one random sound ninja mocked, standing confidently, "Who woulda thought they'd send genin to stop this. Ha, pathetic! Lord Orochimaru was right when this sh*tty village needed to be destroyed!"

Tilting my head to the side, I looked at them with a confused look, "Lord Orochimaru?" I questioned.

The ninja's face turned into a scowl, "You don't know who Lord Orochimaru is?" He spat with disgust acting like his name was the most important thing in the world.

"Um... Should I?" The question seemed to insult them more as he quickly grabbed a kunai and ran at me.

I stared at his running figure feeling my chakra surging through me. Seems like the nap did help. Unsealing multiple Raijin kunai, I threw them at him to which he blocked making them scatter across the small opening in the forest.

Smirking, the next thing they saw was the blur of colours that I wore or my hair colour.

Panting, I sealed the kunai back into my bracelet and continued to scout the area for enemy ninja. There's nothing like training on a battlefield. Maybe mastering the Flying Thunder God Technique would be easier than I thought it would be. Going from three being my limit to at least fifteen. I would have to train harder if I wanted to master it faster.
