"All right we'll take a rest in this village," The white-haired old man told the children who were standing next to him. The blonde and red haired, short girl nodded her head, already knowing what he was about to do. "There's a festival going on at the moment," The man continued, "Do you have money?" He asked taking a glance at the blonde blue-eyed boy, knowing that the young girl won't give him any.
The short boy, still taller than the girl, pulled out a green frog wallet stuffed to the brim with coins. "YUP!" He answered grinning.
"Wait, Naru-!" The blue-violet eyed girl tried to stop him from showing his money but stopped mid sentence. The tall white-haired man had already taken the green bundle of coins and replaced it with only one hundred Ryo.
The boy's mouth dropped open in shock, "WHA- HEY THAT WAS MY MONEY!" He shouted in protest. The girl shook her head in disapproval and sweat dropped muttering an 'I tried to warn you.'
She sighed and started walking away from them, Naruto followed closely behind after he calmed down and realised she was walking away. "Hey Mina," The blonde called.
"You're not getting the money back." She answered bluntly as if reading his mind on what he wanted to say. "Next time, don't show how much money you have. I made that mistake too many times, ya know."
Naruto's eyes widened when he spotted a stall with some kind of good looking food on it, "Hey hey hey! I want to eat that!" He suddenly shouted in excitement pointing at a stall. Mina's eyes flickered to where she was pointing, her face paled at what was on display there.
"You want simmered shiitake mushrooms?" She questioned hesitantly.
"What? NO! I mean the Takoyaki!" He yelled, Mina made an 'oh' sound and nodded glad that she didn't have to eat shiitake mushroom.
"Okay."
In the previous village that they were in, they got attacked by to members from the Akatsuki. A criminal organisation. Since Sasuke and Kakashi were under the influence of a really powerful genjutsu, they were unconscious because the effects of it were that great. Jiraiya then thought it was best to train the two Uzumaki's under his watchful gaze. Although he wasn't able to keep that close of an eye on them since he was off somewhere else and the two siblings were somewhere else.
After the two siblings had all the food they wanted, which was a lot, they started looking for the tall, white-haired man. "Oh!" Mina suddenly exclaimed, a thought popping into her mind. "Naru-nii, he'll be at the XXXXX place!" She shouted in realisation.
"Isn't that...?" Naruto questioned gaining an anger mark.
"YUP! I'll catch up with you later, I need to buy something first." She informed walking in the opposite direction.
"Mina~ Why can't I go with you~" He whined catching up to the multi hair coloured girl. She stopped walking and turned to him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"I don't think you want to go with me." She said with a look on her face. The blonde's face went all red in realisation. He nodded stiffly and turned to walk to where Mina had said the Pervert would be.
Mina smiled and continued to walk the way she needed to go. Her blue-violet eyes flickered from on shop to another, looking for a particular item. Her feet came to a stop in front of a shop, a shop. The words 'Mr.Gold Pawnbroker and Antiquities Dealer' written on the sign outside.
She pushed the door open, hearing a soft 'ding'. "Welcome!" A female's voice was instantly heard. Mina looked up to a pretty brown haired woman with green eyes, "My name is Belle, how can I help you?" She asked after introducing herself.
