Rich, moist, light, fluffy, sugary, melt-in-the-mouth, spongey, memorable, delightful, delicious, more-ish. All those were an understatement. The birthday cake that Mina can make was absolutely indescribable, taste wise.
A mega, four layers with the chocolate filling oozing out already, Naruto's mouth watered as he looked at the large cake that was placed in front of him. Tripple chocolate. The chocolate cream didn't cover the whole of the cake, but it seemed like there was plenty already. With chocolate sponge visible at the sides somehow made it totally mouthwatering.
"I didn't have enough cream to cover the whole cake," Mina spoke, adding a couple grated pieces of milk chocolate on top. "You know how it's out there on out birthday, ya know."
"I don't care!" Naruto shouted, lunging forward for the cake. "It looks great!"
Mina whacked him on the head before he could demolish the cake by jumping on it. "Calm down, we have it all to our selves!" She growled an anger mark already on her forehead.
"You can't tell me to calm down when you mad yourself..." The blonde mumbled, rubbing his head, trying to get rid of the pain.
"What?!" The redhead snapped, her anger rising.
"S-s-sorry!" The boy scrambled an apology in fear of being hit again. A tired sigh left the redheads mouth, picking up a knife. "W-wait! I didn't mean any harm!" The boy shouted, his fear for the female growing.
She looked at him blankly, wondering why he was panicking so much. Then it processed in her mind. Her blue-violet eyes glanced at the shiny silver knife in her hand, before turning her gaze back to the blonde. Her lips twitched upwards into a mischevious grin, slightly on the darker side.
"Maybe~" She drew out, grin widening as his shaking increased. But before she could even say something to scare her brother, even more, her laugh couldn't be held back.
Naruto opened his eyes (that were closed out of fear) and watched Mina clutch her stomach from laughing so hard. He tilted his head to the side in wonder. But the grin that spread across his own face was unstoppable.
"Just cut the cake already!" He shouted, realising the actual reason she picked up the knife.
"Yeah, yeah~"

A little birthday special that came to mind as I was writing this, it wasn't planned at all.
Anyway, good news.
