It had been a couple of days since Mina and the others returned to Konoha. Things were coming back together from the attack caused by Orochimaru, houses were being rebuilt, trees were being planted from the loss. The village was starting to look how it was before the attack.

The sound of shattering echoes through the hallway, along with a small thud and curses being muttered. A gasp escaped her mouth when she met the gaze of an angry man, his eye twitch watching the young girl standing around broken pots and vases. "I don't know why Lady Hokage asked you to help rebuild the village," the man spoke, his glare intensifying. "You're that one with that thing sealed inside of you." He said stepping forward making Mina took a step backwards. "The Hokage must be a stupid woman to let someone like you and that other brat stay alive," He told putting emphasis on the word 'stupid' and 'woman'.

Mina's eyes instantly turned into a glare, "What did you call Naru-nii and Tsu-oba?" She growled in question.

"You disrespectful brat!" The man shouted getting that look in his eyes, "how dare you call the Hokage an old woman?" He shouted in anger, taking another step forward. But this time Mina stood her ground.

"You're the one that called her stupid and let me tell you she's definitely smarter than you!" She yelled back. The man took a step back at the protectiveness that leaked in Mina's loud voice. "She became the first female Hokage before me! And you! What did you do?! HUH?! Sit around your house complaining about how bad life is? How you wanted to do something more in life?! Why don't you stop complaining and actually make a move to change your life?" She yelled, "I've seen how you stand around your house muttering things that I've been doing wrong! Heck! I wouldn't even be here if a grown man, such as yourself, would do his own chores!"

"Don't go telling me how to live my life, demon." He sneered, "I wouldn't have to complain about the things you do wrong if you did it right in the first place. If Lady Hokage wouldn't have sent such a useless person, then I would be having to look in the eyes of a monster. So-" Before the man could finish his ranting Mina cut him off when he hear more shattering.

His eyes widened as he watched the Uzumaki drag her arms across the side table thing, effectively knocking the prized pieces of decoration down and smashing them. "I'm this close to bashing your face in," She snarled making a motion with her fingers. "But that wouldn't be good since I'll look like more of a monster." She said taking a deep breath in, trying to calm herself.

"Why does a demon care what the look like?" He asked rhetorically but was answered anyway.

"You're right. Why do I care?" She questioned herself, before flashing in front of him and connecting her clenched fist with his nose. Her lips twitched up hearing the crunching noise. The man stumbled back and tripped over his own feet, falling to the ground with a thud. "You all put the label of a monster and demon on me, so you should know yourself," she said looking down at the man. "Don't piss off a demon, because when they get mad," She crouched down to his height and tilted her head to the side, closed her eyes and smiled. "You'll regret ever being born." She continued to smile, but the aura around her was unmistakably threatening. She leant forward so her mouth was next to his ear, and whispered something in his ear. Something that made his face pale to the extent where he looked like he would pass out.

Without another word, she was gone in a flash of orange.

The sun was shining high in the sky. It was around noon, so the streets were busier as everyone was looking for something to eat. A young girl with two different hair colours was seen walking down the road, a small smile tugging at her lips.

It was nice. Walking calmly down the road, not having to worry about being dragged by the hair into an alley and being beaten. Now, three years later, she was able to protect herself. It seemed to be peaceful, after the attack on the village and the fight with Orochimaru later, things seemed to be getting back to normal.

Tsunade had questioned Mina about why she was able to obtain the Strength of 100, but Mina simply answered with "don't you remember telling me to store chakra behind my forehead like a bank? I did that and I guess it appeared?" Tsunade didn't question any further but she knew Mina wasn't telling the whole truth.

She looked to the sky, ignoring the stares people gave her. The same ones that they gave years ago, but this time it looked as they had more fear written in the glares. The villagers knew that the couldn't do anything now, not when she was at this level of power, possessing the nineties, the flying thunder god technique and the strength of a hundred seal -though the villagers didn't know about the dark red diamond shaped seal on her forehead- it seemed nothing was to be done about this monster that walked the streets of their village. They were powerless against the person titled a demon.

Taking a deep breath in of the fresh air, she turned her gaze to a restaurant to her right. She saw familiar people in the window of the shop. A brown pineapple boy -seeming not to care of what was going on, a big-big boned boy -who was stuffing his face the cooked barbecue meat-, a blonde girl who was disgusted at how much the boy ate, and an older man that looked to be in distress about going bankrupt.

Her blue-violet eyes lingered on the brown haired boy, her smile turning into a slight frown. You forgot didn't you, she thought, about the bet, right? She whipped her head in front of her and continued to move forward, ignoring the tightness in her chest. Should've known, she smiled bitterly, he never wanted my company, his dad always told him to teach me shoji. Her eyes darkened remembering the look on his mothers face when she hear Mina's name.

"What's with the glum look, tomato?" The voice of the black haired, red-magenta eyed boy brought her back out of her thoughts. She looked up at him, her eyes widening in shock, the dark aura around her disappeared the longer she stared into his eyes. "The eyes are the gateway to the soul."

A grin instantly broke out on her face. Ah, he watched as her grin widened, it's different form usual. Don't smile like that! He thought but her voice brought him out of his thoughts and got him listening to her words. "You can't really call me a tomato anymore, ya know." She said and continued to walk forward, him following in beside her. "It's more of a strawberry banana split." She continued with a laugh.

"Lady Hokage wants to see you," he said bluntly remembering her teammates looking for her. He looked away from her ruffling his hair, "I'll walk you there if you want." He said looking at the floor feeling his cheeks burn.

The girl stopped walking, a couple of steps in front. She spun around to face him and grinned, "nah, I'll get there myself!" She exclaimed happily. He looked at her when she said that, feeling his eyes widen. "See ya!" She shouted before she was gone in a blink of an eye.

The boy sighed and walked on, not noticing the pair of brown eyes that were watching them the whole time.

"A mission?" Mina repeated in curiosity.

"Yes, a mission." Their sensei, Akihiko, confirmed. Mina had met them outside the Hokage office, only to be informed about her mission. "We have to deliver a scroll to a neighbouring village, so it should be a simple mission, apart from the three day walk there and back." She explained in further detail munching on a stick of dango, "Go get ready for the mission and meet me at the gates in half an hour." The girls nodded to the order and went in their separate ways.

This was the first mission they were going outside the village. So it would be a new experience to her but she was sure it would be a simple mission and would be completed without any problems.

How hard could it be to deliver a scroll?
