"I still can't believe all that was a dream," Chiyumi sighed, a huge smile on her face. "It's even weirder that we all had the same dream!" She laughed saying that.
With a chuckle, Mina agreed, although the sting from her arm told her that it wasn't a dream. And surprisingly, the blue haired, red eyed girl also believed it was a dream. And Mina was thankful that she didn't have to explain the theory of other worlds existing. The mission was a success without any attacks from ninja and team twelve was now walking back to the village. The huge green and red gates already in view.
"Alright, I'll go report to Lady Hokage. You can do whatever you want," Akihiko informed once the four had gotten passed the gates, and no sooner once she said that, smoke covered her as she transported herself to the office.
"Well, I'll be going home!" Mina said before she was gone in a flash.
Opening the door to her apartment, she instantly heard the kettle boiling water. The blonde boy popped his head out of the kitchen after hearing the front door open and close. "Where's your 'I'm home!'?" He questioned with a small frown.
Mina's blue eyes that had a hint of purple in them, widened in shock, not expecting him to say that. But nonetheless, a smile broke out on her whiskered face. "I'm Home!" She exclaimed taking off her shoes and plopping her ninja pouch on the side table.
"Welcome home, MiMi-chan!" Naruto grinned then walked back into the kitchen with Mina following him.
"The day has come where I witness Naru-nii in the kitchen," The whiskered girl questioned with a teasing tone.
"It's only instant ramen," He responded to her mocking with a grin. The girl laughed and sat down waiting for her ramen to be set in front of her. "Anything interesting happened on the mission?" Naruto questioned placing the two steaming cups of ramen on the table.
Apart from travelling to a different world, helping them fight a b@stard, getting drunk then coming back, "No not really, we definitely didn't get attacked by a crazy browless missing nin." The two twins laughed at her not so funny joke.
The ramen was finished sooner than anyone could have imagined. Since team twelve came back quite late, it was already time to go to sleep and so, that's what they did. "Hey Naru-nii," Mina called walking into their shared bedroom, dressed in a baggy top and knee length shorts. Holding out her arms she asked, "Can I have a cuddle?"
The blonde boy stared at her in surprise lying in his bed. It had been a couple of years since the last time they cuddled. The huge goofy grin stretched onto his face as he nodded. Wasting no time, Mina hopped into the same bed as her brother and wrapped her hands around his waist, with Naruto wrapping his arms around her back. Snuggling into his chest, Mina inhaled his scent of ramen and something else. It was a smell she missed from all those years ago.
"Hey, Naru-nii," She called, her voice coming out muffled. The blonde boy hummed in response, with his sister feeling the rumbling on his chest. "I love you." She said.
"I love you, too." His strong and unwavering voice spread a warmth in her heart, one that she hadn't felt for a while. A faint smile graced her lips as she asked the next thing that confused Naruto to a huge extent.
"Will you find me when I'm lost?"
"You're my sister, I won't stop looking until I find you, ya know?" The blue eyed boy responded, his voice not saying a single lie. Her smile wavered as tears threatened to spill.
"G-good." She choked out smiling a teary smile into his chest.
