"So this is the place." She muttered, looking at the white walls, with wood stabilising the wall. The place had a gloomy aura around it and all in all, it looked like nobody visited in years. Almost haunted. She took a step forward, stepping over the 'Do Not Enter!' sign. Honestly, she thought, that kind of sign won't stop anyone who wants to pass. Especially if they're a ninja.

She walked silently along the abandoned street. The silence almost driving her insane, but she didn't dare make a sound. Anyone could be watching her, be it a ninja or animal. And she didn't like the feeling of being watched from the moment she stepped inside.

She jolted in surprise and let out a squeak when she heard the unexpected crow caw. Her eyes flickered to a roof where the black bird was perched on. His gaze followed her as she moved. Maybe the feeling of being watched wasn't just a feeling.

She gulped but continued to make her way down the deserted road. Looking left and right, every other second, on guard. Uncleaned blood was still evident in the building and some dried blood on the thin paper doors. Kunai and other weapons stuck in walls. She bit her lip and furrowed her eyebrows. Did someone from this clan actually kill all of them, or was there something more going on?

Mina came to a stop in front of the biggest house in the compound. Looking at the Uchiha crest that was proudly placed on both sides of the house. Taking a deep breath in, letting it out slowly, she walked around the back of the house and entered the garden.

The first thing she spotted was the crack in one of the symbols, it looked like a kunai had done it. But it would have needed a lot of strength to make it go into the wall. Another loud caw made her snap out of her thoughts and turn to look at the entrance of the house.

She stepped up onto the porch of the traditional Japanese house and place her fingers on the wooden and paper doors. Sliding them open, with slight difficulty indicating that they haven't been open in years. She took a step inside. It was dark, although the sun was shining brightly outside. It seemed like no light wanted to shine in. Almost like there was something truly dark about the clan massacre.

Her feet tapped on the wood with every step she took. Opening some doors to take a look inside, most rooms were empty, others had some furniture in them. She then opened one door. Only to regret it. Dried blood stained the floor a dark red colour.

She took a step closer to inspect the blood but found herself pressed firmly against the wall, choking on air. She opened her eyes with difficulty due to the pain in her neck. But when she did, she was met with those blazing red eyes. Her eyes widened to the point it was hurting at the edges. Confusion flashed through her eyes, noticing that she wasn't put under a genjutsu.

The Uzumaki took this chance to observe the man properly. The man has jet-black hair pulled back into a low ponytail and his face was framed with centre-parted bangs that extended to his chin. The forehead protector had a slash through the Konoha symbol, that was most noticeable. And if Mina wasn't being strangled by the man, her feet not touching the ground, she would have said he was very handsome.

"What are you doing here?" He asked calmly, in a suspicious voice. Mina didn't say anything but continued to stare into his eyes, the red and black eyes. They appeared to be drawing her in, mesmerising her. But one thing she noticed, was the pain. Eyes that held so much pain, grief and regret.

She choked for air, before taking a deep breath in and answering, "S-someone ordered y-you." She said gasping for air. The man's hold on her neck loosened as his eyes grew slightly in size. He let go completely and took a step back, narrowing his eyes.

"What was that?" He questioned, standing in a relaxed position. His arm resting on the open part of the cloak, acting as a sling. Mina gasped for air as soon as she was able to get air into her lungs. She straightened up and looked at him with a sad smile.
