"I can't believe you did this!" Harleen yelled. Andrew sat with his head down on her bed. "Are you insane?" she screamed at him. He just looked at her. "How long have you been in a gang for?" she growled.

"Two weeks," he muttered. Harleen looked like her head was about to explode. "Baby, listen. I've been making a fair amount of money off of it and my boss really likes me..."

"I don't give a damn about money. I care about you. You could be killed any day now. They won't hesitate to kill you if they want to. You think it's going to be easy for me knowing that everyday there's a chance for you to be beaten up and killed? And what about me? They..."

"I won't ever let anyone lay a hand on you," he stood up so he towered over her.

"You can't promise anything. And I just started my internship at Arkham and everything is working out perfectly..."

"Life doesn't have to be perfect for it to be great," he said rubbing her shoulders.

"Don't touch me," she said moving away from him. He sighed. She was trying with all her might to not cry. She had always hated it. "I can't see you get hurt," she whimpered.

"Harley, I can handle myself," he said. She knew Andrew was clever and strong, but she didn't think he would last very long. She let out a small sniff.

"Baby, I didn't want to make you cry," he said feeling a little ashamed. Harleen couldn't take it anymore. She started sobbing.

"Come here," he said with his arms outstretched. She obeyed and walked into his embrace.

"I have to do this Harles. You need to understand that," he said. She looked into his eyes and saw that he meant it. She couldn't lose him, at least not now. She nodded and leaned back into his chest.
