"You know, I actually used to like you. It's sad to see you go down this way," Penguin said and pulled out a gun. It was pointed at the Joker's head. The rest of the gang was snickering from the corner.
"Aw Penguin, you really should've taken the opportunity to shoot me before I got loose," Joker grinned.
"Huh?" Penguin said with surprised. Joker pulled his hands from out of the ropes and ducked/ lunged at Penguin to knock him over. Once he was on top of him, it was easy to grab the gun out of his hand. The henchmen automatically started shooting him. Within a couple of seconds, he was able to shoot all the henchmen down but not without taking a bullet to the arm. He winced slightly at the pain but then turned his attention back to Penguin.
"Now where were we?" He grinned. In the dark lit room his smile looked like it came straight out of a nightmare.
"Oh don't worry I'm not gonna kill ya. Why would I kill the guy who launched my career. But I am quitting. I'm starting my own show," he laughed, "But I want to leave you with something to remember me by." He pulled out a knife from his pocket.
"Please, I'm sorry. I'll never mess with you or your girl again," Penguin pleaded. Joker laughed.
"Oh it's much too late for that my fat friend." And with that Joker slashed Penguin's eye. He lay crying on the ground.
"Hey Penguin, do you think your blood would make a nice shade of lipstick," Joker asked while wiping blood off of Penguins face. Penguin had no response. Joker rubbed the blood over his newly scarred smile.
"I think I've finally found my true self," he said sincerely. Penguin was still silent with fear.
"Well, it's been nice talking to you, but it's time for me to go hunt down Marcus," Joker said getting up. He picked up a shotgun and left the building.
