The next morning, Harleen sat in her bed scribbling down some last minute notes on one of her patients. Yesterday she had fed Dr. Arkham some bull shit information since she clearly hadn't had a civil talk with the Joker. She got up from her bed and put the folder into her work bag.

"Harley!" Sloanne came barging into her room.

"What?" Harleen asked startled.

"Did you watch the news this morning?"

"No, what happened?" she asked.

"The Joker escaped from Arkham," Sloanne replied with an underlying tone of fear.

"Are you serious? He's only been in there for three days!" she screamed.

"Well he is the Joker. Anything is possible," Sloanne shrugged.

"This is not good. Batman disappeared and the police are all over the place. We're screwed," Harleen put her head in her hands.

"I know. I doubt he'll try to target two innocent girls though," Sloanne said optimistically. Harleen gave her a little smile. Sloanne had know idea about the fire they were in.

"I have to get to work. Dr. Arkham must be going insane," Harleen said and gathered her things.

"Have fun. By the way, I've taken the night shift at Gotham Clinic so I won't be home tonight," she said.

"Okay. See you tomorrow then buddy," Harleen waved and headed out the door.
