Chapter 1...

Julia's P.O.V.

"Ughhhhhhhh" I groaned as my mother opened the curtains letting the sun rays shine through my bedroom windows.

"Wake up Julia! It's 7:30am and we need to get going to the bakery!" My mother exclaimed pulling my blanket off of me, making me sit up straight.

"Mooooom, no one and I mean no one wakes up at 7:30am in the summer" I pleaded while stretching my arms.

'Well, when your mother owns a bakery and you want allowance, then YOU wake up at 7:30 in the morning" She said giggling as my head kept on jerking back from tiredness.

I eventually got up and went to the bathroom to do my business, brush my teeth, and wash my face. I took a shower yesterday before going to sleep, so I don't need to shower.

I checked my phone and found a message from one of my best friends Emily :

only one week left for school ;(

I groaned and threw myself on my bed, "Ughh, it feels like summer just started yesterday" I muttered and covered my face with my pillow.

I got dressed in a black based summer dress with flowers all over it, put just a bit of makeup, put half of my long dark brown hair up in a ponytail and the rest left it down, wore my pink toms and took my bag, and went downstairs to have some breakfast.

"Good morning" I said to my four brothers, sister-in-law and mom.

"The princess has finally decided to join us" my 16 year old brother, Blake said sarcastically.

"Haha, very funny Blake" I said hitting the back of his head. "Mom, can you hand me a bowl?" I asked politely.

"Excuse me missy, you're 17 years old, get your own bowl" my mom said cleaning the counter top.

"I asked politely" I said sighing and getting up to get a bowl.

"I love your dress Julia" said Amy, my sister-in-law.

"Why thank you Amy" I said and hugged her from the side.

My eldest brother, Ben, got married to his beautiful wife, Amy, last summer. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was 16 at the time, I wore a short pink dress that was sweet-heart shaped, and top to waist was all crystals and from the waist down was like a tutu. My 3 brothers Clay (21 at the time), Troye (18 at the time), and Blake (15 at the time) all wore black suits and black bow-ties. My mother wore a very elegant golden dress and my father, who came from the military to attend the wedding, also wore a black suit with a golden tie to match my mom's dress.

My brother, Ben who was 25 at the time, wore a white tuxedo, a black vest and a red tie, he looked groom-like that day, very handsome, but you can't compare him with Amy. She was the most beautiful bride I ever saw in my whole entire life. I'm glad I have Amy, because she treats me like her sister, and I'm glad she does, because I'm an only daughter.

"So, when is your house gonna be finished?"I asked Ben and Amy as I put my bowl in the dishwasher after I finished my cereal.

"In 3 weeks or so" said Ben.

"Ohh, I'm so excited to see how it turns out" Amy said excitedly tugging on Ben's arm.

"I get to have the first house tour" I said in a serious tone but ended up laughing.

"Of course" said Amy laughing too.

It's 8:30am and we just arrived to the bakery. All the employees were there, either arranging the tables or icing the cakes and cupcakes. As soon as you walk in you get smacked with the delicious smell of freshly grounded coffee, the cakes/cupcakes, and the icing, it's like heaven for your nose.
