Chapter 16

Chapter 16..

Julia’s P.O.V

I walked into the house and almost get knocked over because of Ben running past me to the living room. I walked after him to the living room.

Ben was just sat there casually as if he didn’t just run in front of me.

“Hii” I said smiling, “I uh saw this shadow in the kitchen was it you Amy?” I asked smirking in Ben’s direction.

Amy caught on what I was saying so she started laughing aS Ben’s ears turned red.

“No it wasn’t me” Amy said still giggling.

When Amy stopped laughing she said; “It wasn’t you babe? Was it?” Amy said smiling at Ben.

Ben turned even red and stood up from the couch, “You mean women!” he said walking past me to their room causing Amy and I to fall in fits of laughter.

“I’m gonna go change” I said still giggling.

I walked upstairs and into my room. I took off my clothes put on my pajamas and walked down the hallway to my mom’s room. I knocked and was met with her voice.

“Come in” she said.

I walked in to my mom seated on the bed, her reading glasses on, flipping through a book.

I kissed her cheek, “Hi” I said smiling.

“Hey baby, did you have a fun night?” she said stroking my hair.

“Yeah, I did but I’m absolutely tired. I’m gonna go sleep” I said rubbing my eyes, probably getting mascara everywhere.

“Okay. Good night” she said kissing my forehead.

“Night, I love youuu” I said getting up from the bed.

“I love you more” she said blowing me a kiss.

I walked back to my room, took my phone out from my bag, and dropped on the bed.  Today has been such an amazing day. The date, the food, Ryder, and just everything. I closed my eyes and dreamt of a green eyed boy.

*Monday; School day*

I walked down the hallway of the school to my locker.

Another never ending school day.

Sigh.

I grinned thinking of what happened on Friday and felt like this day would be a good one already. Ryder has been texting me since Friday. Except, I texted him today morning but he didn’t answer which was a little weird because he’s an instant replier. (if that’s a thing)

But I’m not gonna let that ruin my mood.

Once I reached my locker, I found Jake, Emily, and Sophia in their usual spots stood beside my locker.

“What’s got you in such a good mood today?” Jake said taking the smile on my face.

I blushed thinking back to the date.

“Ooohh she’s blushing” Sophia said chuckling.

I laughed nervously, “It’s nothing”.

“Now we all know that is a lie, Julia” Emily said with a smirk.

“I-I uh I went on a date” I said blushing.

“Are you think of what I am thinking” Jake said excitedly at Sophia and Emily.

“YES!” Sophia shrieked with excitement.

The same time Emily said; “Depends on what you’re thinking of” she said twirling her hair.
