Chapter 15..

Julia’s P.O.V

Ben opened the door to the house with his key and we entered. I smelled a good smell and I immediately knew that my mom is home and she’s cooking tonight.

This week has definitely ended in a good way.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Mom, Blake, Clay and Amy in the kitchen. I immediately smiled because this is the best thing to come home to.

“Hi Mom” I said once I entered the kitchen. I walked over to her and hugged then kissed her cheek.

“Hi, Sweetie” she said hugging me back.

“Hi Blake” I said walking by him and ruffling his hair.

“Hey” he replied not looking up from his phone’s screen.

“Hey Clay” I said walking over to him and hugging him.

“Hey sis” he said.

I finally walked over to Amy and hugged her before finally settling down on my chair.

5 minutes the food was served and let me tell you it was fantastic. I was the first to be done with my plate so I picked it up and placed it in the sink.

“You don’t want more?” My mom asked with a smile.

“No thank you. I’m full and the food was delicious” I said, “I’m gonna head upstairs and take a shower and then sleep”.

“Okay. Good night” she said smiling.

“Good night everyone” I said turning towards the door, and was met by ‘night’s’ and ‘good night’s’.

I walked up the stairs and into my room. I went to the bathroom and striped and jumped in the shower. Once I was done I wrapped myself up in a towel and went into my room.

I put on some pajama shorts and I found Ryder’s hoodie on my desk chair.

“Hmm” I hummed walking to the hoodie and pulling it up.

Should i?

Or not?

I shrugged and put it on. I took whiff and I was met with Ryder’s intoxicating scent.

The smell stayed on this long.

Wow.

I picked up my phone from my pants and walked over to the bed and got under the covers. I replied to a couple of texts from Emily and Jake, then put the phone on the bedside table.

I thought back to what happened at James’ house and I felt the heat creeping up my neck to my cheeks.

I really like him.

There I admit it.

I really hope this works becau-

DING.

I picked up my phone and opened it.

New text message.

It’s me Ryder. I am looking forward to our date. I’ll tell you everything about it tomorrow, but for now good night <3

OMG

I saved his number and replied back.

I am looking forward to it too :D.

Good night <3.

I put my phone back on the bedside table, closed the lamps and drifted into sleep thinking about what’s gonna happen during the date tomorrow.
