Chapter 15..
Julia’s P.O.V
I woke up the next day to the knocking on the door.
“Julia! C’mon wake up. Mom made breakfast.” Blake’s voice came through the door, and he kept on knocking.
I groaned sitting up on bed, “Ok, Blake stop. I’m up”.
I heard his footsteps descending down the stairs.
Ugh.
I got up from bed, pulled my hair up in a bun and walked into the bathroom. I did my business, washed my face, and headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and Blake was the only one at the kitchen table eating breakfast.
“Good morning” I said walking over to the fridge and picking up a water bottle.
“Morning” Blake said in between chewing his food.
“Eww. Close your mouth” I said crunching my face in disgust at the sight of chewed food in his mouth. I then walked over to the kitchen table and took a seat.
“Where’s everyone?” I said pulling the served plate in front of me and dug in.
“Mom, Ben, and Clay went to the bakery and Amy went to buy some things for their house” Blake said.
“Oh, Okay” I said.
“Whose hoodie is that? It looks like guy’s” Blake said looking at me.
I looked down at what I am wearing.
Shit.
Ryder’s hoodie.
“I-I umm it’s Jake’s hoodie. Who do you think it is?” I said with a nervous chuckle.
“No one’s” Blake said with a smirk.
Ugh.
Why do I always embarrass myself?
“Are you going somewhere?” I said averting the topic away from this damn hoodie.
“I’m going over to Sam’s house” he said standing up.
“Does mom know?” I said.
“Yeah I told her this morning” he said, “I’ll leave now, See ya later” he said leaving the kitchen.
“Bye” I said getting up and placing my empty plate in the sink.
I walked up stairs and picked up my phone.
2 new text messages.
Mom;
I had to leave for the bakery early this morning; I hope Blake woke you up. If you want to go out somewhere I left some money on your desk. Have fun <3
My mom is seriously the best. I am so thankful to have her in my life. I replied to her text message and moved on to the next.
Ryder;
Good morning, I hope you had some good sleep. I’ll pick you up today at 6. Be ready.
Omg.
It totally slipped my mind. I replied to his text message, promising I’ll be ready in time. I looked at my clock on my bedside table.
9:37.
I still have lots of time to spare. I got up and started tidying up my room. I then collected the dirty clothes and took them to the laundry room. I went up to my room to choose an outfit for tonight. I decided on a high waisted black skinny jeans and a blue crop top. Nothing too fancy.
