"A-Adrien?" I heard a soft voice call me. My black cat ears perked up at the sound. I arose from where I was lying on the ground staring at the wall in wonder. Marinette and I had painted it in bright and vibrant colors.I walked to the entrance of the cave to see Marinette leaning on the wall with a look of terror on her face. I tilted my head to the side and walked over to her. "What's wrong, Mari?"
"I-I, m-my parents. They're d-dead." She whimpered. Shock had taken over all of her lovely features. I looked at her with sympathy in my eyes. How could this kind and forgiving girl lose her parents?
"What happened?" I demanded.
She sniffled softly and buried her face in my shoulder. "A car crash. Th-They were on there way b-back from their t-trip." She cried, her voice muffled by my clothing. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close. It felt like hours that we stood there, her crying and me holding her. After a while, she pulled away, much to my disappointment, and stared at me with her beautiful baby blue eyes. I wanted to kiss her so bad that it hurt.
"What am I going to do, Adrien?" She whispered. I leaned down close to her ear so that she could feel my breath against her skin. I felt her shiver slightly as my lips brushed against her ear.
"You're a princess to me Marinette," I murmured, "so I'll do anything it takes to cheer you up."
"Anything?"

I groaned softly as Chloe walked into Marinette's bakery. Marinette giggled softly and walked over to me. She wrapped her arms around my muscular build and buried her face into my shoulder. She hummed softly. "You're warm, Adrien."
I chuckled lightly but was interrupted when Chloe slammed her hands onto the counter. I looked up at her and Marinette released me from her grasp, leaving me feeling heavily disappointed. I rolled my eyes. "What would you like, Chloe?"
"You know what I want?" She asked, teeth gritted, "I want my Adrikins to step away from that low life freak and come back to me."
I bared my sharp teeth at her. "I'll have you know that Marinette is not a low life freak. She's beautiful, wonderful, kind, and amazing. The only low life freak I see here is you, Chloe."
Chloe stared at me, completely appalled. "Adrikins! How could you!?"
I sneered at her. "How could I what? Tell the truth?"
She huffed and made her way out the door. "Good riddance." I muttered.
Marinette giggled softly and sighed. "You know, you're supposed to be gaining customers. Not chasing them away."
"Sorry, Princess. I just couldn't help it." I replied.
Marinette raised an eyebrow at me. "Princess?"
"Marinette is okay, but I like princess much better," I said sliding my arms around her, "don't you?"
Marinette shivered at my touch. "Fine, but only if I get to call you kitty."
"Kitty?"
"Yeah, because you have cat ears and a tail on when you transform."
I laughed. "Alright, so you're my princess-"
"And you're my kitty." She grinned, kissing me on the cheek.
I sighed happily and placed my hand on the spot where she kissed me. This girl was so easy to love.
