So Soon - Josh Ramsay/Marianas Trench Fanfiction (Sequel to Porcelain)

10 YEARS LATER

"Michael! Shut the hell up!" I shouted at the attractive black haired idiot who was my lead guitarist. Yes, I am in a band. It's called Reverse. It's me and 3 guys, Michael as lead guitarist and backup vocals, Joey as bassist, Robbie as drummer, and me as lead singer and guitarist. We formed in 2009 and it is now 2013. We have two albums and are signed to a small record company. It was a big deal.

"It's just Raine darling, it's no biggie." He slung his arm around me. Before you jump to conclusions, Michael in no way is my boyfriend, but he is a really good friend of mine.

"Uh, can you not?" I asked picking his arm up. "Um you are in to way chilling with us while Cassidy's at her friends. It's me and sexy. Bye Michael!" I smiled and hugged him bye.

"Fine. Bye Caelyn." Michael said then left.

I guess I have some explaining to do.

Cassidy is Raine's daughter who is 9. She's a great kid. When Cassidy was 1ish her father Dan died in a car crash. It was a very sad time for me and Raine, I was still sad about leaving, plus a dead friend on top of that? It was terrible.

As for me and a child, I didn't have one. No I didn't get a abortion, I lost it at two months. Even though I did not want that child, I still was sad and as scared as hell. I thought I could go back to Vancouver to show them the baby, show the baby it's dad, even though that was a terrible idea. I was still going to do it.

After I left, I became very depressed. I wouldn't leave my room. I wouldn't eat. I even cut myself until Raine found out. It was only for 2 months. After that, I'd tell Raine everything. Told her how much I ate that day, my feelings, everything. I'm actually not a very happy person anymore. I mean, I have lots of fun, but just not like I used to.

In 2005 I met Michael. He's the only person here other than Raine I ever opened up to. One night we hooked up. I regret it completely. It's not like we really remember it anyways, we were very drunk. I'm proud to call Michael a friend.

I started to get a lot of tattoos. My arms, legs, torso have a bunch on them. One night at a party 2 years ago I had gotten Josh tattooed on my hip. I quickly got it covered up though. I do have Marianas Trench lyrics on me though. On my collarbone I have 'This just fells So Soon' on me. It's my favourite Marianas song. And not to be weird or anything but I have a hunch it's about me. My hair is no longer blonde and black. It's all just black with a small red streak in it.

It's been 10 years and I still think about them everyday.

"I think I really like Michael." Raine blurted out while looking down at her hands. I squealed.

"OH MY GOD RAINABABY THIS IS GREAT. YOU COULD HAVE SUCH A FUCKING CUTE RELATIONSHIP AND GET MARRIED AND HAVE MORE BABIES!" I screamed. Raine laughed.

"Oh my god calm down. He's just really nice and funny and hot and oh my god I melt when I'm around him it's amazing." Raine giggled. "Anyways, I've been thinking."

"What have you been thinking?" I asked nervously and sat down by her.

"I just think that it's been 10 years and you still miss them like hell. You should go out there. Back to Vancouver I mean." She said.

"To see Matt, sure as hell. To see Josh now, that's a different story." I sighed.

"I know you left for the best but would you like to see them? Just seeing them wouldn't kill you. You don't have to get back with Josh." Raine said. I wish, I thought.

"If I did do this, not saying I will, what's in it for me?" I asked.

"You don't have to baby sit for the next how ever long." Raine said.

"No, I like babysitting Cass. How about you pay rent for then next bit." I said. "AND YOU BUY ME FOOD. CAN'T FORGET ABOUT TAKING ME TO DINNER." I said loudly and laughed.

"You're saying you'll do it?" Raine asked.

"I'm not saying I won't." I chuckled.

"OH MY GOD CAELYN JONES, GOING TO VANCOUVER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS TO SEE OLD FRIENDS." She broadcasted.

"And you buy my plane ticket. I am defiantly not buying my own plane ticket." I said.

"AND RAINE IS PAYING FOR EVERYTHING." She continued. I laughed. "To the interwebs!" She got out her laptop and searched for a bit. "525, leaving the day after tomorrow. Will you take it?" She asked. I nodded. She squealed.

"Return flight?" I asked.

"It's open. You can come back whenever." Raine said. I hugged her.

"You are the best." I said. I was seriously getting happy about this trip.
