19. Life On The Road

The 3 weeks passed and we were leaving for tour today. Josh's birthday wasn't very exciting, we just sat on the couch and packed all day. I sat there, tweeting like a idiot. (A/N by the way, I am 112% aware that FTMWAV happened in March and April (i went to one of the dates), I just needed it in the summer time :))

'@CaelynJReverse omG CAELyN DID YOU LeAVE YET?!?!?'

I laughed as I rolled one of my suitcases back and fourh.

'nah the guys are as slow as fuck it's just me and Josh at the apartment curently.'

'@CaelynJReverse WHEN IS MY BOOTS COMING OUT THS IS IMPORTANT'

'THIS IS ALSO IMPORTANT. AUGUST 4TH'

'@CaelynJReverse are you excited to tour with the best band ever?'

'Ehum. Second best band ever. kidding. Totally! Life on the road!'

"Get off your lazy ass! The bus is here!" Josh shouted, jumping up and down like a four year old. I giggled, got up and slid my phone in my pocket. I grabbed my two suitcases and did a mental checklist, making sure I didn't forget anything. The animals were already with Josh's parents so we walked outside. There was two buses. One for Reverse and one for Marianas Trench. "Do you wanna go on our bus or yours?"

"I'll go on mine, I need to get settled in. Love you, tell the guys I said hi." I said, giving him a quick kiss and going our separate ways. I walked onto our bus and the first thing I saw was the lounge, totally empty. I went to talk to the bus driver.

"Hello, what may I help you with?" He asked. I believe Josh told me his name was Martin.

"Could you like open up the back so I can get my guitar?" I asked. He nodded. We both went outside and I got my acoustic guitar. We went back inside and Josh texted me.

Leaving in 5 minutes. - Josh

I didn't bother to text him back. I got out my guitar and sat down. We're picking the guys up tomorrow night because the tour didn't start until the day after.

Are you sure you don't wanna come over? I'm sure it's lonely in there - Josh

It was really quiet. I left my bags in the bus and ran out with my guitar.

"I'll be back to get my stuff next pit stop! Sorry to leave you alone!" I said to the driver as I ran out. I quickly jumped on to the guys bus. "Hey, bros." I chuckled. Matt was on the phone talking to someone.

"Babe, babe, babe, listen to me! Megan's great! She'll take care of you! I'll call you everyday." Matt said who I was 99% sure was Nicole. Of course, Matt was making me help Nicole plan the wedding.

"Let me guess, Nicole's having a panic attack from her poor little Matt leaving her?" I laughed and sat down next to Josh, placing the guitar on my lap. Matt gave me a really stressed out look. I frowned at him.

"Oh my god! Are we having a jam session?" Mike asked, running out to go get his bass before the bus left.

"Mikey! Get my guitar too!" Josh shouted. Matt gave us a what-the-fuck-don't-forget-about-me look. "And Webbs!"

Mike came back juggling 3 cases in his arms. Josh and Ian got up to help him.

"Nic, okay, yes, okay, okay! Love you... Bye." Matt hung up his phone and sighed. We all laughed and Mike handed Matt his guitar. He even brought Ian out his little egg shaker.

"What do you wanna play?" I asked as the bus suddenly started moving. Josh started strumming a familer tune.

"Come on, Porce, don't kid yourself, you know this one." Josh said as he continued to play more. It was Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. I chuckled and joined in. Soon enough everyone was playing.

Josh and I sung. After we finished we had a good laugh. Wow, this is what musical people do for fun. We'd rather sit around strumming on a guitar than go partying.

"Who's laptop is that?" I asked, pointing to a macbook between Mike and Matt.

"Mine." Matt said.

"Wanna film a YouTube video?" I asked. Everybody cheered. I opened up Matt's laptop. The screen saver was a picture of him and Nicole, making me mentally awe. I searched up YouTube and logged in. I hit the create button and started to film. "Hey Reverse fans! You were probably hopping to have the rest of the band but I'm with Marianas Trench. I believe we're doing a song."

"What are we doing?" Matt laughed.

"Kyrptonite! Lets do that one!" Josh cheered.

"Y'all know it?" I said as I messed around with my guitar.

"Literally the only Canadian I know who says y'all." Josh said.

"Fuck off. Okay, 1, 2, 3, start." I said as we all started playing the song. When we finished I hit upload. Josh kissed my temple and strummed And So It Goes. After probably hours of us messing around on the instruments Ian and Mike left and went to the back.

"Do you need to practice your set?" Josh asked. I shook my head no.

"I know these songs like the back of my hand." I said. I very lightly played My Boots.

I was back stage at the Toronto concert, pacing back and fourth.

"NOW, WELCOME REVERSE TO THE AIR CANADA CENTER." The announcer said. Robbie ran on stage first, getting some screams, next came Joey, a bit louder, then Michael, a lot louder. Then, it came me, I was so nervous I was shaking. I was pushed out on stage by somebody and ran to the front. I never thought I'd get such a loud shout from people that wanted to see my band. Wow.

"Hello, hello. Are you guys excited?" I shouted into the mic. Everybody screamed. I smiled widely.

"Wow, you loud mother fuckers! Can you be even louder?" Michael asked the audience. The shouted even louder, making me laugh.

"Never did I think we would be opening up for such a amazing band. This first song was a pretty big song for us. I got covered in a shit ton of paint doing this video. This is, the very majestic song, Second Go." I said and started to play on the electric guitar. Everybody screamed very loudly. We played Ice afterwards.

"This song is a very special one. I wrote this while I was in fucking Vegas! Right now, I would like to welcome Josh Ramsay to the stage! This will be the very first time anybody will be hearing Cactus In The Valley. It'll be on itunes later tonight!" I said. Josh ran onto stage, getting a massive amount of screams.

"How's everybody doing?" Josh shouted into my mic. More screams. I smiled and started to play the song. When we finished, Josh gave me a quick peck and ran off. I've never heard a crowd scream that loud.
