Chapter 8: Phoenix Angel

Elizabeth and Victoria were at the shore line sparing. It was something to get their minds of what happened. I was sitting on a bench at the top of the beach still trying to sense them. It's like there suppressing their energy. I was sitting there thinking...... the person that Victoria described, it sounded like someone I knew, someone I fought before. Just then I sensed a powerful energy in the distance. Victoria and Elizabeth sensed it to, because they stopped sparing and looked at me. I got up from the bench and couldn't believe what I was sensing. I sensed again and this time I sensed Scarlett, Annalynn, Meagan, and the fourth energy, a powerful one, I couldn't make out. The girls landed first, over by Elizabeth and Victoria, they looked completely fine. I could hear them telling Elizabeth and Victoria to stay out of what was about to happen.  Then the forth energy landed. I couldn't believe my own eyes. It was The Phoenix Angel........ my sister. She was wearing a coat and some gloves to cover herself up.

"Ho...how.... a...a...a... are yo...you...." I couldn't get the words out of my mouth. I was in shock.

"How am I alive? Ha, that's funny, because I thought you were dead with the rest of the family. I was saved becuse I wasn't wearing my seat belt. I was thrown from the car when it crashed. Then it blew, I was thrown farther away. Ironic, yes, but true. My question for you is how did you survive the blast." Angel said taking off her coat and gloves.

"I didn't, technically. I was dead on arrivel. I woke up in the ambulance. Scared the shit out of the paramedics. I told them that I wanted to call you, but I was told that you died in the explosion." I told her still not believing she's right in front of me.

She gave me a long hard look. I saw that she had a scares on both her hands, like something was stabbed through them. Then out of nowhere, she kneed me in the stomach. And out of pure instinct, I forced her knee off with my left hand and followed through with my right hand, nailing her in the face. From there we started exchanging blows. After a few minutes, she stopped.

"That's enough." Angel said powering down, "They have trained you well."

"Who trained you?" I asked.

"Let's just say it's somebody we both know. You know that felt right, me and you fighting like that. Like old times, right?" She said landing in front of me.

"Yeah, just like old times. Is that it though? You fight me and say stop. That's it?" I questioned.

"Look, I was just feeling you out, too see how you would react. Till about a week ago I thought you were dead. I just wanted to make sure it was you. Ok?" She explained.

"Alright." I said looking over a the girls.

To my surprise they were actually horseing around. I guess they knew that everything was ok. Since Angel and me didn't kill each other. We both sat on the bench.

"So why did you come?" I asked  bluntly.

"Well, when I heard that there was this so called god thing coming and I've been training ever since I found out." She started, "Then this man shows me how to use my energy, and not long after that, I found out you were alive. So naturally, I came to see if you were training for the fight. I can see you are. So my question for you now is...... How would you like to fight together against this 'god'?" She said placing her hair behind her ear.

I looked at her for a couple of seconds, then at Elizabeth. She was playing around with everyone. I thought about us just laying around and... well... just being normal. I looked back at Angel.

"Why did you kidnap them though?" I asked.

"I heard that they were the ones traing you, so I kidnapped them and they told me how to find you. After I explained my relation to you of course." She said rubbing her hands.

"You couldn't just ask them without kidnapping them?" I said looking at her.

She looked at me a laughed. "Where's the fun in that?" She said with a smile on her face.

I got up and put my hand out for Angel to grab, "It would be my genuine pleasure to fight along side you then sis, I wouldn't have it any other way."
