I woke up about six o'clock in the morning, I couldn't stay asleep. All the emotions and nervousness running through my head and body were finally getting to me. I look to see Elizabeth sound asleep with her head and her arm laying on my chest and my arm around her. I was about to move her off me, but this was a rare moment of peace and tranquility, something that I longed for, for awhile now.

I laid there taking in the sweet silence and just stared at her beautiful face. I ran the back of my figures across her cheek and a smile formed on her face, then it slowly faded. I smiled, then ran her beautiful blond hair behind her ear. There has always been something about her that always had me in a sense of wonder, I think it was the mystery... adventure.... love...... and different kind of passion all wrapped in one with her.

I knew that I could die by this fight, but I know that I couldn't give up on her. Multiple times, the thought of marrying her crossed my mind, multiple times the thought of death has crossed my mind, this fight is really starting to get to me. I know that if I ask her and she says yes, but if I die... I wouldn't be able to live with my self knowing that she would feel agony and sadness the rest of her life. But if I don't ask, I don't think that I won't be able to ask her after the fight, I might lose my nerve.

She repositioned herself, which gave me a opportunity to get out of bed. I slid my shorts on and watched her as she took a deep breath and exhaled. She is the most beautiful in every way and I always wondered how I got her. Even though it took so long, in the end, I knew she was mine and I wanted to marry her.

I walked to the living room and saw that my future self wasn't there, the blankets that he used were, but he wasn't.  I wondered where he was, but I push that to the back of my head. I went out on the porch and sat down in the chair after I made myself some tea. I pondered the thought of marriage, seriously think about asking her. Then I felt a huge burst of power. It most likely just someone powering up, but it could also be someone destroying and killing people. Even though I figured it wasn't one of the girls, I sensed to see if it was... it wasn't.

A few minutes went by, I felt a hand on my shoulder, just from the lightness of the touch I knew it was Elizabeth.

"Hey, sorry I woke you." I said setting my glass of tea down on the railing. I stood up and looked at her. I tucked her hair behind her ear and rested my hand on bridge of her shoulder and neck looking in her eyes, "You felt it too, didn't you?"

She shook her head, "Yeah." She then rested her head in my hand.

I pulled her closer with my other hand a little fast because when I did she yelped. We both laughed. "I don't know if it's because of the everything that have happened or what, but I want to..." I couldn't believe I was doing this. She looked at me with the face of a girl that was about to get what she always wanted. "I have gotten to know you pretty well the past five years now and I want you to know that I will always be there for you, no matter how bleak things seem." Her look got deeper and deeper as we got closer and closer, "I'm going to ask you a question."

She looked at me with her gleaming blue eyes. "Alright."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I was hoping that you want to do the same with me." After I said that there was a few moments of silence.

Then she looked at me, when a smile on her face, "Tyler I would love to answer you, but I'll only answer you when we come back... after the fight." She kissed me on the cheek, "Besides, I want to see how good you have gotten." She said with a smirk.

She smiled and waked to her bedroom. I followed her and saw she was getting ready, so I did the same. I put on the usual things, orange pants and shirt. I put on the light pair of black boots knowing that my normal boots had a little weight to them for training and I know I'm going need every bit of speed I can get.
