"Come on guys, It's not that difficult." Meagan said getting very annoyed. "Tyler, you put your hands on Angel's, focus your energy between your bodies and follow what comes next."

Victoria and Meagan were getting frustrated trying to teach us the fusion technique. We were going on our eleventh attempt.

"It can only be done with siblings, ones that have nothing to hide, ones that are willing to do what it takes to win." Victoria said.

"I think we have tried enough today. Lets pick it up tomorrow. Ok?"

They both nodded and flew off, leaving Angel and me alone.

"You know," I started, "if we're going to beat this 'god' we need to get this technique down."

"Yeah, I know Tyler. It's hard to learn it though, they had their whole lifes to learn it, we have weeks. I just don't think it's possible." Angel said with frustrating tone in her voice.

"Why don't we spare for about a half an hour. You know, so we can let out our frustration and anger." I said taking a fighting stance.

She took a fighting stance and said, "Why not, I mean it's not like there's anything else to do."

So we start fighting. Nothing major, we just throw punches and kicks and we block them no problem. That's when I noticed that she had a totally different fighting technique, other than the one we grew up using. I mean, I expected it to change a good bit, but this was totally different. There wasn't a hint of her old technique which was odd. I kept fighting so I could see if anything else changed. A few minutes into the fight we started using energy blasts, that's when I suspected something was off. The moves that she was doing weren't anything I expected from my own sister. It was like I was fighting someone else.

I thought that it was her, but I had a hint of doubt. Everything, but the way she fought, was normal. That's what bugged me though. Why would everything else be normal but that one thing? I decided to talk to Elizabeth about later, just in case it lead to something more.

"Ok, I think that is enough." I said looking at her closely, waiting for a response.

"Are you sure?" She asked. "We were just getting started."

"Yeah, it's getting late and we need to get back." I said as I started flying towards to Elizabeth's house.

Angel was on my butt the whole there. So I would speed ahead about twenty feet and she would do the same thing. This went on the whole way there.

When we got there Elizabeth was in the back yard tanning. I motioned to Angel to go ahead in the front door. I lowered my power level so Elizabeth wouldn't sense me. I landed in front of the gate to the back yard. I started walking to her back side slowly, trying to be quite. I got right up to her and I was about to scare her. But then then she said, without moving a muscle.....

"You know, you should really try harder if you want to scare me."

"Every freaken time." I said out loud. "Why can't I get you?"

"Maybe you should try a different approach next time." She said as she snickered, "That might work."

"Ha... ha... ha, you know you couldn't sound any more sarcastic if you wanted." I said laying down beside her.

"Yeah, I know. But that doesn't mean that I can't have any fun, now does it?" she said floating above me.

I grabbed her and then swapped places with her. With her now on bottom I said. "Hey, I never said that."
"Oh really!?" She said with a very intense look on her face. Then she took advantage that she had tanning lotion on and she slipped right out of my grip and put me onto the grass. Now I'm on bottom and she's holding me down.

"You do know that since I'm only wearing a bikini, I am a lot more flexible." She said into my ear while letting me go.

"Yeah, it just hit me." I said with a smile, I stood up, trying to gain my balance. "Look, I'm going to tell you something and I want your opinion on it. Ok."

"Ok." She said, looking confused.

"Alright," I started, "I've noticed that Angel's fighting technique was off, and by off, I mean almost totally different, and that's not counting the kind of energy blasts she done. I mean, I expected things totally different from what she did. I also get the feeling that she's not wanting to try to fight the god, let alone train for it. Have you noticed anything weird with her lately?"

"Well I didn't want to say anything," Elizabeth started, "but she is a little off. Off in the sense that she does weird things. Sometimes she would twitch her neck or her eyes would go blank for a second like she would space out, then they would go back to normal."

"Yeah, ok, thanks. Let's keep this between us for now, at least till after the fight. If she is hiding something, I don't want it.... public, if that makes any sense." I said sitting down in the grass.

From the moment that Angel returned, I thought it was a miracle. But there was still the memory of the night of the accident that's been haunting me. She was feet away from me and I could of sworn that saw her die with my own eyes, it was just a normal trip to the store.....
