Chapter 13: The Favor

I woke up the next morning with Elizabeth still cuddled up next too me. I laid there just thinking if I should tell her about my transformation stunt I did. If I do then, she'll want to see, that's just how the mind works. But if I don't, I would a surprise to her, something I don't get to do often. I decided to wait.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was going on ten o'clock. I then slipped out of bed grabbing her cell phone. I put my clothes on and headed out to the back yard. I opened the door slowly hopping that I didn't wake Elizabeth up. I closed it and walked off the porch. I called Meagan and Victoria.

"Hey can you two do me a favor and meet me at the my old school." I said hopping that they would say yes.

"Ummm.... sure just lets us get dressed." Meagan said.

"And don't tell Angel. Matter a fact,  don't bring her just say that ya'll are doing an errand or something. Ok?" I told them.

"Oh, ok. You want to tell me why we're meeting you there." She asked in a demanding tone.

"Let's just say that I have something to show you. And wear you training clothes, ok, see you there." I hung the phone up and went back inside.

I tossed the phone on the counter, and sat on the couch. I can't belive I was having these thoughts of doubt. I was thinking that I wasn't strong enough to win the fight, or something was going to happen were I not going to be able to deliver the finel blow. I don't know were it's coming from, but it felt like something was going to happen and I just wanted to tell Meagan and Victoria to hold Elizabeth back in case I was going to do something really stupid.

I got up from the couch and went to the guest bedroom and got me my training clothes. It was a pair of orange pants with a black belt, like the ones for Martial Arts training, made out of light but durable martial. The shirt was the same color and made out of the same material, but I made the shirt sleeveless so it would be easier to move in. The boots were solid black and didn't really have anything special to them. All they were was some special military combat boots, so they're durable.

I was flying to my old school, thinking on how I am going to show Meagan and Victoria my transformation. I need to, that way they won't be surprised at the fight.

I was going to ask them to get Elizabeth out of the range of the shock wave of me transforming. That way I know she'll be safe. When I got to the school they were waiting in the back, near the bus ramp. I landed and they were talking.

"About time you got here. We were beginning to think that you wouldn't show." Meagan said standing up. "Now you want to tell us why you dragged us out here? This early in the morning I should add" she said with a yawn.

I took a deep breath, "Yeah I will, the reason I asked you to come here is that I want you to do me a favor. This favor, however, is odd. Since the fight is tomorrow I need you two fuse and take Elizabeth away from the area. Not now obviously, but when I..... well, lets just say that you will know when."

"What do you mean by that?" Victoria asked with a confused look on her face.

"Remember that energy, which I'm pretty sure you sensed the other day?" I asked straightening my posture.

"Yeah." They both said looking at each other.

"It was the god, I mean he'll be here tomorrow." Meagan said looking at me dead in the eye.

"It wasn't the god." I said backing up, while keeping my posture, "it was me."

That's when I started powering up. The look on there faces was priceless. I felt my power starting to peak, so I dailed it back. I felt my body changing... transforming. My muscles grew in diameter about an inch, my hair perked up, and I started to glow a yellowish orange agian. For a split second I was blind, but it was corrected almost immediately.

They were looking at me like they thought I've lost it. They backed up in fear, and Meagan stumbled and fell back. I immediately moved behind her and caught her before she landed.

"Hey," I said snapping my fingers in front of Victoria to bring her out of her daze. "You with me?"

"I..I... uhhh...I...."  she said. She couldn't even get a word out of her mouth.

"I know, it's a lot to take in." I said lifting Meagan up on her feet, "Funny thing is, Elizabeth doesn't even know I can do this. I've only told you two. And I want it kept this way, for now at least, ok? Just in case I can't.... well you know."

They shoke their heads. I transformed back to normal. "I know that this an unusual favor, but I wouldn't asked unless I thought it was necessary."

"It's ok Tyler," Meagan said, still somewhat in a daze. "I think we can handle it."

"Now, if I do transform tomorrow their might be a huge shock wave, because I will be gathering a lot more power. I'll try to let you two know when I'm about too transform. Ok?"

"Ok." Victoria said, still a little shaken up. Then she walked up to me. "I hope you know what you're doing Tyler."

I looked at them both and laughed,"Me too guys," I said, "Me too."

They flew home and I stayed behind at the school to look around. I don't know what it was, but something was calling to me, again.....
