As Alice walked through the door, she noticed things were not as it normally is.
The sky was grey and cloudy, the plants were wilted and dying, the stone path was cracked and missing some stones, and there was no one to be seen.
"What in the-" she started saying.
She slowly started walking, taking in the new scenery.
She had been to Wonderland many times, and the sky was almost always sunny, the trees were always alive, the stone path was always intact, and there were normally creatures of every kind wandering around.
She made it into the forest without seeing a creature or person.
"Cheshire?" She called out for the Cheshire cat.
Nothing
"Cheshire, where are you?" She called again.
Still nothing. But for some reason, she felt she was being watched.
Alice couldn't shake the feeling. It felt like eyes were everywhere.
Quickly, she ran through the forest, making her way to the Mad Batter's house.
She didn't stop running till she made it.
She stopped at the tea table, panting. When she looked up she saw that no one was at the table. No hare, no mouse, and no Mad Hatter.
She stood there for a while, suddenly, she heard a creaking noise from the Mad Hatter's
She unsheathed her swords and pointed them to the noise.
The Mad Hatter came out of his house with his hands in the air.
"It's just me" He said.
"Oh, sorry." Alice said, she put her swords back. "Where is everyone?"
"That's what I called you you here for." He said. "Please, come inside."
Alice followed him inside.
She looked around his house. It looked the same as always. The chairs were floating, actually, everything was floating. Everything except the fireplace.
The Mad Hatter's house was large, and in the shape of a teapot.
The room you first enter into is the living room.
"Follow me." He said as he walked into the kitchen.
Alice obeyed.
The Mad Hatter moved the rug in the kitchen to reveal a door. Not a trapdoor, just a door.
He lifted his hat to reveal a key attached to a small rope connected to the top of his hat.
He yanked the key off of the rope and unlocked the door, and jumped through.
Alice took a deep breath, and jumped in after him.
"It's dark in here." she said flatly.
"Patience." He said.
What felt like eternity but was actually a minute later, the lights flickered on.
"Woah." Alice said, taking in the view.
All around her was weaponry. Guns, knives, swords, weird weaponry from Wonderland, and much more.
"Why do you have this?" She asked.
"Oh, ah, this is my bunker in case of danger, or apocalypse, or someone invades my tea party.
Alice remembered when he pulled a gun at her when she first came to Wonderland.
"Oh, speaking of apocalypse, something weird was going on with The White Rabbit earlier, and Wonderland is looking weird, and I haven't seen anyone in a while!" Alice said eagerly.
"Ah.... Yes... That is what I called you for. Have a seat." and as he said it a chair appeared from a dark corner.
Alice sat in the floating chair, she always wondered how it continued to float even after she sat. But she never thought to hard about it.
"You see, the Red Queen ordered her servants to have everyone to drink this potion she had, it was suppose to make everyone more light-hearted and listen to her, and anyone who didn't drink it, well, it was 'off with their heads' it kinda did word, for a week, until everyone started acting funny, they stayed away from each other, only interacting with each other to play pranks." He took a breath. "They became zombies."
"That's a weird kind of zombie." Alice said.
"Well you are in Wonderland, my dear!" He said.
Alice nodded her head.
"Anyway, I want to get Wonderland back to normal." He said, then Alice heard him day something under his breath.
"What?" Alice said.
"Even if it means murder..." He said a little louder to where Alice could hear.
"So... What you're saying is, is that you want to kill people to get Wonderland back to normal?" Alice asked.
"No, no, not necessarily. I mean I obviously want a cure. But if killing is what it takes then yes."
"Do you know where a cure might be?" She asked.
"Actually, I do!" He said. "There should be one at The Red Queen's castle. She's and I should be the only ones who didn't get infected."
"Wait, how did you not get infected?" Alice asked.
The Made Hatter looked at the floor. "I fake drank it. When the guards weren't looking I emptied the bottle and refilled it with tea, then when they looked again I drank the tea quickly so they wouldn't notice."
"Did you know what would happen if you drank it?" She asked.
"No, the hare just said it didn't taste good." He said.
Alice facepalmed.
"So, what is our goal here? Invade The Red Queen's castle?" Alice asked.
"No, we will invade the Queen's castle!" He said.
She facepalmed again.
