Zombie Alice

Chapter fifteen

They slowly crept up to the cavern.
"Who goes there?" Asked a booming voice.
The Jack bent down on one knee and motioned for the others to do the same.
"Sire, it is I The Jack of Clubs, with my companions Lady Alice, and sir Mad Hatter."
"What is it you require?" he asked.
"I have come for a cure." said Jack.
"Have you not already come asking me for something?"
"Yes. But sire, we need something else." Jack said.
"What will I get in return?" the voice asked.
"When will we get to stand up?" Alice mumbled.
"You dare complain?" The voice said.
Jack glared at Alice. "I apologize for her rude intrusion."
"It is forgiven. Please enter." the voice said.
They each stood, The Jack pulled Alice toward him.
"Don't anger him. He is easily angered, and if you anger him, nothing will go right." he warned.
Alice shrugged him off, "Fine, whatever."
They entered the cave.
When Alice saw the wizard, she almost burst out laughing.
The wizard was about four foot tall, with a two foot tall blue, sparkly hat. His thin, white hair sticking out underneath, his outfit was oversized, and a darker shade of blue than his hat.
She held back the laughter.
"Sit." he said, his voice was squeaky, which didn't help with Alice.
They all sat down on a log in the cave.
The cave was covered in shelves with bottles covering each shelf. There was a log, and a stump for them to sit on, and a small table in the middle.
"So, let's talk negotiations." the wizard said.
"We can offer you a million gold coins." the Jack said.
The wizard thought about it for a while. "No, I don't need that."
"What is it you want?" the Jack asked.
"I want to live in the castle." the wizard said, "with my own servants and guards."
The Jack sat for a while, he put his hand to his ear.
"Okay, we can do that." the Jack said.
"Good!" the wizards voice for even squeaker when he said that.
Alice burst out laughing.
The wizard got angry. "How dare you disrespect me!"
"The lady didn't mean anything by it!" The Jack said.
"No. This has gone to far. She will be punished."
Alice rolled her eyes.
The Jack glared at her.
"Please sire, he reasonable!" The Jack said.
"I'm not being reasonable!?" The wizard yelled. "You will also be punished."
The wizard pulled out a wand and froze Jack and Alice.
The Mad Hatter slowly backed off the log.
"Where do you think you're going?!" the wizard yelled.
"Um, I-" The Mad Hatter stuttered.
The wizard stood for a while.
"Are you with these two?"
"Yes, I mean no, I mean... Yes." he said.
"Then you shall also be punished." he said, then froze The Mad Hatter also.
