"This isn't the right castle." The Mad Hatter said as he walked out of the throne room.
Alice sighed. "Okay. Then let's get going to the ne-"
She got cut off as the castle started spinning, but they stood still.
"What the heck?" she exclaimed
The castle shrunk, and shrunk. Alice thought they might be crushed, but then, the castle disappeared.
The Cheshire appeared at their feet.
"Good job. This isn't the real castle." he said, clapping his paws.
"Cheshire!" Alice exclaimed. "Just tell us which is the real castle!"
"And where is the fun in that?" he purred.
Alice groaned.
"I'll give you a hint. Lean closer so I can tell you." he motioned them closer.
The moved closer.
"The Red Queen is full of herself." He whispered.
Alice backed away. "How is that suppose to help?!"
"You'll see." then, he disappeared.
"I wish he would stop doing that!" she said.
...
They made their way to the next castle.
The doors were gold and the outer walls were marble. Almost like the last castle.
"Are you sure you don't remember how the castle looks." Alice asked.
The Mad Hatter shrugged. "Not really."
"Would you mind explaining how you're allowed in the throne room, but I'm not?" she asked while they walked into the castle.
"Simple. I help out a lot." he said.
"Wait. Won't walking in there tell her that you didn't drink the potion?"
"Yes, but I'll risk it."
The inside of this castle was red with black trimming. The furniture was velvet. This one also had the table with the vase. Though above it was an abstract painting.
"What could The Cheshire have meant by that stupid phrase. 'The Red Queen is full of herself'" Alice complained.
They walked the same way they did to the throne room from the other castle.
"Well, The Red Queen is full of herself, but I don't see how that helps." The Mad Hatter said.
Alice sighed.
They continued there walk.
"The walls are so velvety" he said, feeling the walls as they walked.
There heard a noise in front them.
"Do you hear that?" she asked.
"Hear what?" he asked.
"It sounds like..... Buzzing. In front of us." she replied.
"In front?" he asked.
"Yeah..." she said, slowly moving toward the noise.
"Wait, why are you going toward the noise?" The Mad Hatter asked.
"The find out what it is." she replied. "Duh."
The Mad Hatter stood, confused.
"C'mon!" she said, grabbing his sleeve and pulling him along.
They arrived at the door to the throne room.
The doors were gold with small black rectangles all over them.
Alice sighed. "Go in."
The Mad Hatter was hesitant. "Don't you hear? The buzzing noise is louder now."
"Just go in!" she said.
"Let's take a peak first." he said.
"Fine."
The Mad Hatter opened the door a bit, and peaked through. Alice peaked with him.
"Look. Nothing's there. Go in." she said, shoving him through the door.
He stumbled through into the room, the door closed behind him.
Then, screams.
Alice quickly shoved the door open. A million horse flies all trapped in the room came flying out, kicking and whining.
They shouted in pain from the kicking, swatting away the horse flies.
After a few minutes of this, the laughter from the Cheshire flooded the room, and the castle disappeared.
"Cheshire! What a horrible prank!" Alice exclaimed, swatting away the flies.
"Oh hush, hush." he said, as he slowly appeared.
"Make them go away!" Alice yelled.
"Hmmm." he thought about it, "okay fine, since I like you."
The Cheshire shooed the flies away, back into the forest.
Alice's anger came flooding back to her.
"Cheshire! This is getting out of hand!" she yelled.
"Hey, look at the bright side." his head turned bright yellow, "there's only one castle left, and it's got to be the right one."
Alice let out a groan.
"And hey, remember my hint? The Red Queen is full of herself."
"How the heck is that suppose to help us?" Alice complained.
"You'll see." his body disappeared. "That is, when you get to the next castle."
Then, he disappeared yet again.
