Dustyn could feel his life energy slipping away by the second. Hopefully, it wouldn't be long now. Torches around the chamber unexpectedly flashed to life and he squinted. Dustyn painfully lifting his head to observe Bezaliel stroll into the room and stride over to where he dangled from the roof. "Damn."

"Oh, you aren't going anywhere, my little king," said the Watcher lifting a crooked finger to the young man's forehead. "You are my favorite plaything."

Dustyn's mind exploded as energy coursed through his body. He quaked violently, suspended in midair by the leather straps secured around his bruised and bleeding wrists.

Bezaliel laughed at her creation. The contorted face and erratic puppet-like movements of Dustyn's writhing body before her was some of her favorite entertainment over the past week. She almost wanted to keep him for herself.

"Please, just kill me you evil bitch..." Dustyn wheezed. "Honestly, what is the point to all of this?"

"Kill you? You are already dead, demon."

"You know what I mean or are you just that damn stupid?" Dustyn asked, hoping to spark the witch's wrath.

The Watcher grinned at her prisoner. "Ha, nice attempt, David, but I am not that easily brought to anger. Your offensive words aren't enough for me to extinguish you....yet." She lifted both of her hands to Dustyn's chest and like a defibrillator sent a pulse of energy into his body. Bezaliel roared watching the former teacher flail violently about.

"Sister Bezaliel," shouted Asbeel, entering the dungeon. "The Grigori commander wishes to speak with you."

The witch sneered at the messenger. "Very well, Asbeel, tell that bitch I am on my way." Bezaliel turned back to Dustyn. "I will return momentarily my plaything," she said and patted the young man on his face.

Dustyn spat at her as she turned. He was fully awake now.

Bezaliel laughed once more. "You are sooo much fun, human." The Watcher left the room and the flames flickered out only to return seconds later.

"That was fast...oh, joy!" Dustyn said with a sigh. He had assumed he was at least going to have a somewhat longer respite before his tormentor returned.

"King David," said the old man, abruptly appearing in the space before the dangling demon. He waved his hand in front of him, sweeping it across Dustyn's chest.

"What are you doing?"

The old man muttered a few unintelligible words that Dustyn didn't recognize, although they did sound like Latin.

"Hey, old guy...whoa!!!" Dustyn's restraints suddenly opened and the young man collapsed to the dirty stone floor; his legs giving way as his feet made contact with the ground.

The old man bent over and lifted Dustyn's arm around his shoulder. "It is time for you to come with me, King David."

Dustyn nodded and the pair vanished from the room.

Bezaliel could see the flames of the torches flickering down the hall as she approached her torture chamber. "That's not right. I extinguished those before..." She narrowed her eyes as she realized what was going on.

"Cain!!!"
