Maul and Ezra Part 8

Sorry for such a long wait. School and stuff. This will be a shorter chapter. Just the Rebels POVs. And maybe give you a glimpse of Ezra's next punishment. Evil laughter. Enjoy this thing. Let's do it.

Kanan's POV:

Ezra. Black lines. Ezra hurt. Ezra stay with the light. Don't fall. Wait a little longer. I'll find you, Ezra. Son. I get out of bed and use the force to guide me to the cockpit. Hera was there. She was as worried as me.

"What now?" She had kaff in her hand. I grab her other and hold her close.

"Maul, he marked Ezra like his property. He still fighting but I can't get a solid location. I fear we might not be able-" my voice chokes. I can't think like that. Chopper comes in and warbles sadly. He isn't any closer just like us.

Zeb walks in and looks at the ground. He then looks at us and I get ready to tell Zeb the same thing I told Hera.

"The kid. Is he still fighting?" Zeb asks. I am shocked that he would think Ezra would just follow Maul blindly. But then I think of everything he has done.

Maul could've said he had hostage and if Ezra did comply we die. Or he could've took off Ezra's limbs to make him obey. Right now what Ezra is going through is better then I expected.

"Yes. He was just marked as Maul's apprentice. Ezra won't give up easily but he will weaken and hopefully we find before he dies from the pain," I sadly say and Zeb nods. We were all depressed.

But one thing is for certain. When we see Maul, we aren't going to hold back. Maul will pay for what he did to Ezra and us. Revenge may not be the Jedi way but defending my Padawan, my son, is.
