Jedi Business Part 7

Ashoka's POV:

It was the next day and Ezra went with Obiwan and Anakin. While me and Kanan both got a feeling. Our challenge. We grab some cloaks and run to find this challenge. Or whatever it is.

Was I worried? Yes. Ezra was with my master and I think Anakin is going to love him. It's just the thought of those three or even those two. Scares me to death. Hopefully the Jedi Temple isn't destroyed by the time we get back. I think Kanan is thinking the same thoughts.

"There's another temple on Coruscant. Maybe that's where we need to be?" I say and Kanan nodes. We get on a speeder and race towards the location. I kind of don't want to do the challenge. I want to stay. I want to give Ezra a chance to complete his training fully with all the Jedi stuff.

"Don't worry I'm thinking the same thing, too," Kanan says and I nod. We get there in a few minutes and the temple is in the earth and we'll need the force to open it.

"I look at him and he looks at me. "Ready?" I ask and he smiles. "Let's do this."

We put our hands out and the ground starts going up. The rock is spinning. (Just like Lothal's Temple) After a few seconds, we stop and a door was there beckoning us in. Here goes nothing.

Ezra's POV:

I love these two. They are so funny. They keep fighting and I must say they are like my master and I. We fight but always care for each other. But unlike brothers. We are more like father and son.

"I'm just saying that the kid is more likely gonna use a lightsaber than the force," Anakin says and I roll my eyes. This started when Obiwan asks if I use the force or my lightsaber more. I said my lightsaber but it's pretty even.

Then Anakin starts saying that I need to use my lightsaber more because my weapon is my life yada yada. Obiwan on the other hand says the force should be used more and it is your best ally.

"But what if you lose your saber like you do. Then what will you have? The force. End of discussion. I win," Obiwan says and Anakin looks horrified. They hate losing arguments.

"How come you win just like that?" Anakin complains. I stifle my laughter. But a question still was there. Where is Kanan and Ashoka?

Kanan's POV:

Inside the temple I went through my whole past and then the present. I think Ashoka went through the same thing. Then after that whole trip down memory lane me and Ashoka stand in a room.

All the masters come and they show us a light. Our time. Our present. I didn't want to go. Ezra can learn so much here and can become a true Jedi. But then Order 66 will come and he will die just like us.

We turn to each other and nod. I smile. Ezra will learn more now from me. I won't fail him. We go through the light with hope for a better future.

Ezra's POV:

I needed to go. I bid farewell to the masters and they continue bickering. Will this ever end. I follow Kanan's force signature and I was met with a temple like Lothal.

It was open and I go through the door to see a light. I walk through it with a smile.

Time Skip

I wake up from our makeshift bed on the planet. What? Ashoka and Kanan wake up too and Kanan instantly comma Hera.

"Hey are we okay to come back now?" Kanan asks. I wait for her reply and feel like no time has passed at all. But the dirt and stench of our clothes tells me otherwise.

"Yes its been 5 days. We're sending a ship your way. See you soon," Hera says and hands up. I smile and Kanan and Ashoka join me. We might not have trained but we did learn a lot about each other. And the force as well.
