I was walking around the mall one day when a model agent came up to me and handed me her card. We talked for a while about what her company was about and everything. I've never really considered being a model but I have heard from people that I could possibly be one. Why not give it a try?
I woke up around 10:00 and got ready. I put on a simple outfit since I'm pretty sure they're going to want to have me change. I went downstairs and grabbed my keys and walked out the house and drove to McDonald's. I only eat their breakfast and apple pies everything else to me is nasty. You're probably calling me crazy right now but I don't care.
I got myself a Sausage McGriddle with a water and I got Lucas the same thing but with orange juice. I drove to his house and unlocked the door with my key.
"Luca!!" I yelled out walking upstairs with the food. "Wake up." I said once walking into his room.
"No... leave me alone." Lucas said and I laughed.
I placed my things on his dresser and jumped on him. He groaned and I started messing with him. "Wake up, wake up, wake up." I said, doing all I can to make him get up.
"Alright dang. I'm up." Lucas said, getting up and pinning me on the bed.
I smiled and leaned up kissing his cheek. "Good morning. I brought you breakfast from McDonald's. " I told him, pointing to it.
He turned his head then looked back at me and leaned down to try and kiss me. I pushed his face away and got up.
"No, morning breath." I said. --- "What are we doing today?" Lucas asked, putting on his shirt.
"Well I'm going to see about this studio." I told him.
He looked at me confused. "For what? You can't sing." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"A photoshoot. This lady owns a modeling agency so yeah." I told him and he smiled.
"Awe yeah I'm definitely coming." He said.
I shrugged and drunk my water. "Then we have to go now. It's already 12:15. I'm supposed to meet her at 1:00." I said and got up walking to the door.
I heard keys jingle and we were out the door and into the car. -- "Chrystal is it? Hi, how are you?" The manager, Mrs. Smith said, giving me a hug.
"Yes hi Mrs. Smith." I said. "Oh please call me Dianne.
"Oh ok. This is my boyfriend Lucas Coly." I introduced him.
"Yeah, I'm just here to support and watch." He said and smiled.
She nodded and laughed. "This is going to be exciting. The stylist Hannah can help you with your first photos which are just head shots. The makeup artist Jade can help with well makeup of course."
"Great." I said. I walked over and everybody was so friendly. There was a guy standing in front of a bunch of lights as the camera flashed. I stood and watched for a minute. He stood shirtless with black jeans low enough to show his V line, and holding a jacket behind his back and sometimes on his shoulder. He did a nice job, hope I can do the same.
"Like what you see?" The guy came up to me.
"Um, what?" I asked, looking up at him.
"I saw you watching. I just asked did you like what you were seeing?" He asked looking me up and down.
"Oh.. my bad. Yeah your a natural. It's my first time doing this whole modeling thing. I hope I do good." I told him.
He smiled showing his pearly whites and nodded his head. "A beautiful girl like you should be a natural." He complimented me.
"Oh thank you." I said smiling.
"Oh and I'm Keith by the way. Keith Powers." He said. (A/N: Yes I had to put him in here. That man is the true definition of perfection. I've been hooked since New Edition but wished I found him earlier because yall just don't know😍😍.. Anyways back to the story.)
"I'm Chrystal. Chrystal Jackson." I said and smiled.
"And I'm Lucas. Lucas Coly." Lucas said coming to stand in front of me, mean mugging the guy I just met as Keith.
I sighed deeply and stepped to the side. "Lucas it is not that serious. It's a friendly conversation. Just trying to meet new people so I can get comfortable around here." I said and glared at Lucas.
"A little too friendly Chrys." He said still mean mugging Keith.
Being they were about the same height, and both towered over me, I don't know who would win the fight if there was to be one.
"Oh my gosh. You take everything so serious and wrong." I said lowly.
"I mean no harm towards her man. Just trying to be a nice person and say hi." Keith said, putting his hands up.
"Exactly. I'm so sorry about him. This is my boyfriend by the way." I told Keith.
"Oh that's cool. I meant no harm. It was meeting you both." Keith said and smiled.
"Yeah, maybe you can give me advice on what to do when I'm up there." I said.
"Chrystal it's your turn. Come on up sweety." Dianne said and I nodded.
"Welp, here goes nothing." I said and walked to get in front of the cameras.
I seen Lucas walk off to sit down and watch. I stood in front of the cameras and watched everybody stop and stare. Oh my gosh.
"Ok Chrystal, I just want you to be natural. Give a little smile every now and then. Ready. Good." Dianne said and ran off somewhere. --- "Alright. We'll send you the pictures in the mail and you can send the ones you don't want back." Dianne said.
I was finally finished and it was now 4:00. I didn't see Lucas anywhere so I looked for him and saw him sleep in the dressing room. I laughed and sat on his lap.
"Luca.. time to go. I'm finally finished." I said, rubbing his face.
He took a deep breath and opened his eyes. I kissed his lips and he kissed back grabbing my waist.
"Let's go." He said and I got up. He got up too and we walked out after saying bye to everyone and headed back home.
