Maybe it's just me, but I like it when writing looks attractive.

When I say attractive, I don't mean writing style. I mean many things, like: how paragraphs are laid out, how speech and thoughts are separated, how punctuation is set- the overall layout of the book.

When I assess someone's book, I always mention the structure.

Is it easy to follow? If not, is that done intentionally?

But, many people can't even do this. Paragraphing isn't particularly hard.

The worst is when everything is in one large heap of writing. When you can't put a space between puctuation and the word following, I won't take your writing seriously.

It just screams: 'I AM A NOVICE WRITER'.

It looks bad. It's even worse when you misspell a word in the title of your book, or in your description/blurb.

The next of bad things is The Randomized Capital Letters. This Is When Someone Captitalises Every Single Word In The Sentence, Despite The Fact That It Isn't A Title.

See how Ghastly it looks? It hasn't got a Chansey of being read(Badum tss). Bloody nasty shit right there.

After is punctuation. When someone uses punctuation incorrectly, it's painful to read or jarring. For example, using a full-stop instead of a question mark.

This is really irritating. I've mentioned this earlier already, so I'll try not to say anything repetitive.

1. End all your sentences, including dialogue tags.

2. Ellipsis are no longer than three full-stops. ONLY THREE.

3. Stop with the unnecessary puntuation.

4. Don't half ass punctuation. You're an asshole if you do.
