Don't get me started on OCs!
Okay, can we all just say how stupidly well they get on with X characters from X series?
They make me cringe to death. No one gets on that well or can establish a relationship dynamic that quickly. The authors who write these have either:
Never moved school
Never had to make new friends
Makes friends so GODDAMN EASILY they might as well write a bloody book about it (okay I'm being like this because I'm as socially awkward as people my age get. I'll try not to throw too much salt)
Not only that, but they just love to make charaters of X series act entirely out of character the moment they 'lock eyes'. I dunno about you, but I would shit myself if I met the super famous *insert character here*. Why? Because people don't react normally to these people.
Well... apparently, 'teleported/transported to the anime world' protagonists don't. Apparently, they are just experts of everything to do with the anime world- weapons, places, people... anything and everything. Apparently, they know exactly what to do in every single situation: using their perfectly fit/toned 'I've never worked out once in my life' bodies and their existence of perfection to charm the shit out of everyone and make them all act out of character.
If you haven't noticed yet, I hate these OCs. Everytime one is badly written, my Wapanese Kawaiitis flares up so badly that I: die, roll in my grave a few million times while facepalming myself in infinite disappointment, come back from the dead and thus the cycle continues.
Is it that hard to write an OC? Honestly, the only thing I get from these is infinite disappointment.
Write an OC like yourself. Add flaws, make them likeable. If you can't write one, don't make it.
We don't need more bad fanfictions on this website, especially OC ones.
