Song of the Chapter: Feel by Sleeping with Sirens

Ryder's POV:
"Good afternoon Ms. Chadwick." A doctor said, walking into the room.
"Good afternoon. I'm Drew. Ryder's dad." Drew introduced himself.
"Okay, so our test results show that she didn't go into any type of shock, which is just what we wanted. But, we did find some other things. We found that, not only that she didn't go into shock but, it was almost like she was used to the violence and also that she doesn't have all the blood in her body that she needs to, in order to be healthy." The doctor explained.
"Um, my dad used to um...do things to me." I said, just below a whisper.
"Oh, I'm sorry." The doctor apologized.
"It's fine." I smiled.
"Anyways, we would like to pump a few pints of blood into her body, with your permission of course." The doctor asked Drew.
"Yeah, of course, whatever it takes to make her better." Drew nodded.
"Okay, so, a nurse will be in, in a few minutes to take a bit of blood, just so we can see what type of blood you have. Then, we'll go into the procedure which will only take about an hour." With that the doctor left.
Then, everyone walked in. Some that I didn't even know.
"Ryder, these are my friends Ted, Ryan, and Jack. They're gonna be on tour with us." Drew said, as the three guys that I didn't know, waved to me, as I returned it.
There was a knock at the door as a nurse walked in.
"Hi, I'm here to take a blood sample." She smiled.
"You might feel a little pinch." She said softly as I grabbed onto Drew's hand.
The nurse stuck the needle into my arm, drawing blood.
I squeezed tighter onto Drew's hand as it stung really bad.
--
I opened my eyes, looking around me.
"Where the hell am I?" I whispered to myself.
I looked to my side, and saw Drew passed out on a chair beside my bed.
Shit, I'm in the hospital. Oh, yeah.
I looked at the alarm clock on the table beside me which read 3:46 am.
Shit shit shit shit. I missed the concert.
"Drew." I whisper yelled.
"Drew." I said.
"Drew." I almost yelled, before he finally woke up.
"I'm so sorry." I whispered as he hugged me.
"For what?" He mumbled.
"I missed the concert. I missed the first concert of your headlining tour. I'm a horrible daughter. I'm a horrible sister. I'm such-" My rambling was cutoff by Drew. "It's okay." He chuckled.
"But, Drew-" Again, I was cutoff but, this time by the doctor coming into the room.
"How are you feeling Ms. Chadwick?" He asked.
"Great." I smiled.
"Ok, well, you are free to go back to the hotel. Have a nice evening." He smiled, and walked out of the door.
I stood up with shaky legs and managed to walk out of the door.
"Here." Drew said, and before I knew it, I was being carried on his back.
"The hotel's only like a block away." He said as we reached the hospital parking lot.
We finally reached the hotel and Drew put me back onto my feet once we were in the elevator.
We reached our floor, a girls stood outside of the elevator doors.
"Y-You're Drew Chadwick." One of them stuttered out.
"Yeah. I'm sorry girls but, I can't take pictures or anything right now. Ryder just got out of the hospital and I'm just gonna take her back to her room plus, you guys should really get some sleep." Drew smiled politely.
"It's okay. We hope you feel better soon Ryder." Another said, smiling brightly.
The girls got into the elevator as Drew helped me to Wes and I's room.
Drew knocked on the door, Wes then opening it.
"Hey." Wes smiled, hugging me tightly.
"You got her?" I heard Drew ask from behind me as I felt Wes nod.
Wes shut the door as we walked into the bedroom.
"I'm going to change quickly." I said and grabbed some black sweats, a grey v-neck and changed in the bathroom. Also, throwing my hair into a messy bun.
I walked out, Wes handing me a plate with 2 slices of pizza on it.
I sat on my bed as Wes sat on his.
We rented a movie and turned off the light as I ate my pizza.
"Hey, Wes?" I asked.
"Hmm?" He hummed in response.
"Why do bad things happen to people?" I asked, tears brimming at my eyes.
"I don't know, Ryder. I don't know." I could tell he was on the verge of tears too. It was all in the way he talked. In the way we feel.
