Ryder's POV:

When I got back to the hotel, my phone started ringing.

I checked who it was: Nick the dick.

"Hello?" I answered, sniffling a bit from previous events.

"How you doing? I remembered today was her birthday." Nick said.

"I'm okay. I miss you though." I said.

"I miss you too. We'll see each other soon, I promise." He sighed. "Austin's here and wants to talk to you."

"Hey." Austin said, taking the phone from Nick. "How you hanging in there?"

"I'm doing okay." I sniffled.

"I miss you so so much." He said. "Remember that Rachel chick?"

"Yeah." I mumbled.

"Julianna told her off." Austin laughed.

"Seriously?" I asked, cracking a smile.

"Yeah. She called her a dumb ass bitch, and said nobody gave a shit about her." He laughed even harder.

"No way." I said in disbelief.

"It was perfect. Rachel was so pissed off too." He concluded.

"Are you guys done with school?" I asked.

"Yeah, we finished yesterday. Where are you at?" Austin asked.

"I'm in San Diego for the weekend." I answered.

"Sweet. When you coming to visit?" He asked.

"Well, after this weekend were coming up to see family before we leave on tour so, I'll see you guys this week." I smiled, thinking about finally seeing my best friends again.

"Yes!" Austin yelled.

"What?" I heard Nick ask in the background.

"Ryder's coming home next week." Austin said excitedly.

"Forever?" Nick asked.

"No, she's just visiting." Austin said.

I could feel Nick's face drop.

"Hey, you coming?" Tyler asked me, fairly loud.

"Where?" I asked.

"Were going to dinner." He said.

"Who was that?" Austin asked.

"Oh, my boyfriend, Tyler." I said. "And I'm sorry guys but, I gotta go."

"Okay, we'll see you later." Austin said and the call was ended.

Austin's POV:

"I'm sorry bro." Nick said. "I know you really like her."

"No, I asked who she was with. I brought it up." I said, blaming myself.

I just hate hearing about her having a boyfriend. Don't get me wrong, Tyler is super chill but, I've practically loved Ryder since the first time I met her. She's just so beautiful, smart, funny, talented and amazing.

"Stop blaming yourself for liking her." Nick said.

I have to get over this.

"I should have said something before she left." I said, angry at myself for letting this happen.

"Dude, you just need to calm down."

"I just can't, bro. I-I..."

"You what?" Kian asked, walking back into the room.

"I think I love her." I sighed.

"You think you love who?" Julianna questioned, walking in.

"N-Nobody." I said quickly. She can't know that I'm in love with her best friend.

"Austin loves Ryder!" Kian shouted and immediately covered his mouth with his hand.

"Go to Hell man." I said through clenched teeth.

"Awe. Austin has a crush." Julianna cooed.

I need to get over this.
