Chapter 11: These times are hard

Ryder's POV: *3 days later*

"Ok, so no answering the door to strangers, no boys over-" Drew started.

"I get it." I laughed.

He's recited this list at least forty times in the past hour.

"This is the longest I've been away from you since I adopted you." Drew sighed.

"I'm gonna miss you." I sighed back, pulling him into a massive hug.

Hey, It's only going to be for about a week and then I'll go out to South America and be with them again.

Plus, I have Tyler's here and he's amazing and like another brother to me.

"I'll see you soon." Drew said. "Love you."

"Love you too. Now get going, you're going to be late for your flight." I said, giving him one last hug before he left.

"He left a note." Tyler laughed, picking up the piece of paper.

I swear it's the funniest note ever and he was being so serious.

"Tyler and Ryder,

Don't eat/drink:

•My protein bars

•My almond Milk

Tyler, I swear to God if anything happens to my daughter I will kill you.

Ryder, do NOT touch anything in my closet.

If anything happens to the house or my car I will kill you both.

Love you Ryder. -Drew"

And Keaton signed his name at the bottom with the handwriting of a three year old.

"You hungry?" Tyler asked, picking up a menu for the Italian restaurant downtown.

"Yeah." I grumbled.

I hadn't ate since ten this morning and it is now five.

"Get ready then." He said.

I got a quick-ish shower, blow dried my hair, leaving it in it's natural curls.

I ran to my room, a towel wrapped around my body.

I pulled on high-waisted, pink denim shorts and a loose white tank, with my black and purple Jordan's.

I put on my make-up and put my contacts in.

I put my phone into my back pocket and rejoined Tyler in the living room

"You take forever." He complained as we walked down to the lobby and outside.

"I usually take longer." I laughed.

"Then, this is going to be a long week." He said as we got into his car.

We arrived at a cute little Italian café.

We got a seat outside under an umbrella and I don't know I just really like this place already.

A lady came over and took our orders.

The sun was starting to set and there were fairy lights so, it was an amazing view.

"This view is amazing." I said in awe.

"Tell me about it." He said just as our waitress brought our food.

As we were walking out, a girl about fifteen stopped us and asked us if she could get a picture with Tyler and I, which we happily accepted.

She stood between us, as her mother took a picture of us.

"Thank you so much." She said, hugging us both.

We got back to the condo and sat down on the couch.

"Wanna watch some movies?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, lemme just go get into something more comfortable." I said, him nodding as I went to my room.

I pulled on an Emblem3 hoodie that was a bit big and a pair of plaid pajama pants.

I wiped all of my make-up off and took out my contacts, putting my glasses on.

I walked out to the living room as I waited for Tyler to get back with the snacks.

I grabbed my phone and scrolled through twitter, having more mentions than usual.

I clicked on them and I was completely and utterly shocked.

"Tyler!" I yelled as he jogged in.

"What?" He asked, as I handed him my phone.

I could tell he saw it.

He handed me my phone back as I looked at even more of the tweets.

"@Ryder_Chadwick you and Tyler are so cute." with a picture of us at the restaurant.

"@Ryder_Chadwick @TCase_9 why didn't you guys say you were dating??!?"

"@TCase_9 @Ryder_Chadwick OTP #Tyder"

Number one, what kind of ship name is that? (A/N: I seriously suck at ship names lol)

Number two, no. Were not dating.
