Song of the Chapter: I Surrender by A Day to Remember

Ryder's POV:
"Ryder, can you come in here?" Wes yelled from the kitchen.
"Yeah?" I asked, walking in.
"I have to tell you something." He said, not seeming too happy about it.
"What?" I asked, suddenly really scared.
"Keaton, Tyler and I are moving." He sighed.
"W-Where?"
"L.A." He said.
(A/N: I honestly don't know where they moved to. help me out?)
"Are you fucking with me?" I asked, not wanting it to be real.
"I'm one-hundred percent serious, Ryder. I'm sorry. We found a condo there and we'd be closer to the label and it'd just be easier for us. But, were gonna talk to Drew and see if he'd wanna go down there too and maybe we could all patch things up." He said, smiling, trying to make things better.
"But, Drew just moved out. And Ryan just moved in. I-I." I said, trying to process it all.
"I'm so sorry. Were just trying to do what's best for all of us. For all we know, this might not work and then we'll try something new." He said, he looked almost disappointed in himself.
"I'm just scared to loose all three of you. How the hell are Tyler and I supposed to be together?" I suddenly panicked at the thought of not having Tyler in my life anymore.
"That's why were going to Drew's to figure this out right now." He said, before yelling for Keaton and Tyler.
"Can I go change so that I don't look like total trash walking down the street?" I asked, looking at my sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt.
"Only if you're quick." Wes said.
"Five minutes tops." I promised before running across the hall to mine and Ryan's place.
I went to my room and changed into a pair of skinny jeans and an A Day to Remember shirt.
I brushed through my hair and didn't even bother to style it, leaving it at it's curls.
I decided on not putting make-up on and sliding on my glasses and a pair of vans.
I grabbed my phone and went back out, where Ryan was just walking in.
"Hey, I'm going with Wes, Keaton and Tyler to Drew's." I said, before walking back across the hall.
We made our way down to the ground floor by elevator and walked to Drew's place.
I honestly love it at Drew's. I has a big kitchen and family room, and every bit of decoration fits him. It always smells amazing, too.
I knocked a few times before he answered.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked, pulling me into a hug as usual, every time I come over.
"We need to talk about a few things." Wes said.
"Okay. Uh, come in. Make yourselves at home." He said, letting us in.
I sat down on the couch, which was unbelievably comfortable, like I could sleep there for the rest of my life.
"So, what do we need to talk about?" Drew asked.
"Keaton, Tyler and I have decided that were moving to L.A." Wes said.
"Ryder, Kelsey is in the kitchen, you should go help her out." Drew said. I took the hint and made my way to the kitchen.
Drew's POV:
"You promised." I said, not even wanting to look Wes in the eye.
"I know I'm just trying to do what's best for us all-"
"No. When we decided that I was done with the band and that I was gonna move, we all promised that if we made a big decision like this, we'd think of Ryder first." I said, trying to keep calm.
"Yeah, I know, and I did think about her, but, we found this place and we couldn't-"
"You obviously didn't fucking think of her! This is going to tear her to shreds!" I lost it.
"Drew, just calm down. Please." Keaton begged.
"What about her and Tyler? This might tear their relationship apart." I said.
"That's what I was gonna talk to you about. The condo across from the one we're buying, is being sold. And it's really cheap." Wes offered.
"So, you're saying that I should leave this place, take Kelsey and live in L.A.?" I asked. This whole thing just seemed so utterly stupid.
"I mean, we'd like you to. We could patch some things and who knows what could happen." Wes said, thinking positively.
"I just don't want Ryder to get hurt. You're just making things worse." I said, shaking my head.
"Oh, so you think that you never hurt her? You literally left her behind and went to live with your girlfriend. You left your daughter for Kelsey. You
left it up to us and Ryan to take care of her. Ryan has a career and you guilted him into this. Her brother shouldn't be the one taking care of her, it should be her father." Wes yelled, loosing it.
"I know." I sighed, realizing that I'm a terrible father.
Ryder's POV:
There was a ton of yelling, I went up to my room. There were more yells but, were muffled by the walls and door.
They're fighting over me.
This is all my fault.
I surrender, God. I surrender. I'm done putting up a fight.
