Lucas' POV
It was about a week into summer and Riley and I were hanging out. We were sitting on the couch bored out of our minds. We had watched a movie, ate a snack and went on a little adventure out back. No one had found out about the kiss except out parents.
"What do you want to do?" I asked wrapping my arm around Riley.
"I have no idea. All I know is it is cold!" she said.
"I'm sorry babe," I said."Want a jacket?"
"Yes," she said with a smile. I quickly got up ad went to my room to go grab a sweatshirt for her.
"Here," I said as I threw it at her.
"Thanks," she said giggling.
She put on my sweatshirt and I would be lying if I said that she didn't look super cute.
"Can someone please explain to me how you can be this adorable?" I asked as I sat down and got situated again.
"Um no I can't because I don't know how," Riley said smiling.
"I really like you, Riley," I said.
We sat and talked for a little bit longer until I got a phone call.
"Oh, its Zay," I said.
"Answer it. I will find something to watch on TV," she said.
"Okay," I replied. As I got up Riley grabbed the remote and started flipping through channels determined to find something for us to watch. I stepped outside and answered the call.
"Hey dude," I answered.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Zay asked.
"Hanging out with Riley," I answered.
"Dude, you are always with her," Zay replied.
"No I am not," I said.
"Lucas, whenever I call you it is oh I'm with Riley, oh Riley and I are going shopping. Bruh, get a break!" Zay shouted.
"Zay, Riley makes me really happy," I answered.
"Okay," he said,"See ya."
"See ya." I said. I did kinda wish that I could spend a little bit more time with Farkle and Zay but I loved hanging out with Riley. We could literally talk to each other for hours.
I walked back into the room and Riley was sitting on the couch watching Phineas and Ferb.
"I loved that show as a kid!" I said.
"Why do you think I turned it on?" she said smiling.
I sat down by her and put my arm around her. I loved spending time with her. We sat and watched the Phineas and Ferb marathon for awhile into we got tired. I looked at my watch and noticed that it was about 7:45 at night.
"It is a quarter til 8. Do you wanna go home?" Lucas said. To be honest I really fodmt want her to go.
"My parents said since I can drive I can stay at your house over the night," she said with a smile.
"Okay!" I said
We went up to my room and I handed her an oversized hoodie.
She went to the bathroom and changed. When she came back I was mad at myself for not realizing how cute she looked in my clothes.
We laid on my bed but didn't sleep much. We basically stayed up the whole night talking and laughing. I seriously could not have asked my night to go any better.
A girl that is happy is a girl that is wearing her boyfriend's or crush's sweatshirt or jacket.
