Riley's POV
Today it was the last day of our high school year. Lucas and I haven't kissed each other on the lips since out first date back in seventh grade. We didn't really consider it a kiss since I missed so we decided to keep our first kiss as a special moment.
"So are you guys ready for summer?" Maya asked.
"What kind of question is that? Obviously," Zay answered.
I was hanging with Lucas, Maya, Farkle, Smackle and Zay at lunch. We were obviously talking about the last day of school and how excited we were for it.
"So, Lucas," Zay said bumping Lucas,"When are you and Riley going to have that big moment?"
"We want it to be special. That is the whole point that we are doing this," Lucas said.
"But haven't you two already kissed? In like 7th grade?" Farkle asked.
"Oh yeah," Maya said,"On our first date."
"I missed so badly it wasn't really a first kiss," I said. I swear all they mention is that kiss in seventh grade.
"But everybody still made it such a huge deal," Farkle said.
"But we were only in middle school," Lucas said,"Everything was a big deal."
"That is true," Smackle said.
"Guys, we have been waiting for you guys for so long! Just get it over with," Maya said.
"We want it to be special. Not to get something so important out of the way," I said.
"Okay," Maya said.

It was after school so officially summer!! Lucas and I were hanging out in the small forest behind his house.
(I have no idea what Lucas' house looks like but none of us do so OH WHALE!!)
We were walking around me on his back.
"Why am I carrying you?" Lucas asked.
"Because you love me," I said half giggling.
"True," he said setting me down.
"And when you really love someone you do something that you never thought you would do," he said. He was looking into my eyes and smiling. I couldn't help but look into his eyes and fall in love with him. The sparkle in his green eyes never left his eyes ever since he moved here in 7th grade.
"You do know I love you," he said.
"Yeah, and I love you too," I said.
"So we have established that we both love each other?" he said.
"Yeah, I guess," I answered.
He looked at me before grabbing my face and softly kissed me. The kiss was soft and sweet. Everything that I have ever wanted in a first kiss was right there.
He moved away before looking into my eyes and quickly kissing me again.
"That is something I have been wanting to do since I met you," Lucas said.
Then I realized that through everything when you have that once in a lifetime kiss that makes you feel helpless than you know that person is the one.

I am actually doing pretty good on this. Something I thought I never would do.
