Lucas' POV
Riley and I had a date planned to go on since it was our 6 month anniversary. My plan was for us to go to the park and eat some food, go on a little nature walk and then go to carnival. The weather obviously had some different plans since literally one hour BEFORE we had to go it started pouring down rain.

Riley: Babe, I really want to go on our dare but I don't know if we will be able to now with the weather as bad as it is right now.
Lucas: I still want to spend some time with you since it is our 6 month anniversary.
Riley: But what are we going to do? It is pouring outside.
Lucas: I have an idea!
Riley: What is it?
Lucas: How about you come over to my house and we watch a movie and eat popcorn and chocolate.
Riley: Okay! I will be there in a little bit. Let me get ready though.
Lucas: Okay love you.
Riley: Love you too!

I decided to work on my Algebra II homework while I waited for Riley to get here. After about 30 minutes I heard my mom yell at me.
"Lucas, Riley is here!" she yelled.
"Coming," I said.
I ran downstairs and saw Riley in leggings and a pullover. She always looked so cute whenever she decided to dress lazy.
"Hey, Riles," I said giving her a hug.
"Hey, Lucas," she said smiling.
"Okay, you two have fun just din't have too much fun. You two are only fifteen," my mom said.
"MOM!" I yelled embarrassed.
"I was kidding," my mom said,"No I am going to go make some dinner."
"Love you," I said.
"Love you too sweetie," she said back after she disappeared to the kitchen.
"Okay, what do you want to watch?" I asked as we sat on the couch.
"If I Stay," she said sweetly,"I have heard it is a really good movie."
"Okay," I said as I found it on Netflix.
We watched the movie and Riley was snuggled up next to me with her head on my chest and my arm wrapped around her. It was the perfect way I would've said to spend our 6 month anniversary. We didn't need a picnic, nature walk or a carnival. All we needed was each other to make sure that we were happy to be with each other.
"You know what?" I said.
"What?" she answered.
"I would not have wanted to spend our six month anniversary any other way," I said,"Even though our plans didn't go has we hoped but we got to spend time with each other and that is all that matter."
"Agreed," Riley said smiling. She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and we went back to watching the movie.
Some days are bad some days are goo but being with the people who care about you make any day perfect.
