Love.
Many things come from battles but we will see which will happen now-As our hero's journey continues.
Ash's POV
"One down" I exclaim, looking at serena above on the sidelines, next to a fennekin, she gives me a sharp smile then looks back at the battle.
"Hm I see your pikachu beat my fletchling, time for my espurr" Calem says throwing out a pokeball containing epsurr.
{A/N: Ash hasn't done much in Kalos yet so only has froakie, pikachu but can obtain pokemon from Oak's lab}
"Your sending out espur? Then I'll choose gible" I say reaching for a pokeball.
I thought I'd bring this, it's powerful but sadly I got it late into my journey through sinnoh so little bit of experience here wouldn't be a terrible idea.
{A/N: Don't expect the same moves as in the anime (could do it though) and excuse me if I use more than four moves btw i dont know why im making such a big deal but i don't care lol }
"Gib!" A land shark says as it appears before me, "Prepare to say good bye to espuur" I say while commanding my gible to use draco-meteor.
"Dodge it" Calem yells eyes locked on to the falling meteors.
"Psychic, now!" He screams to espurr.
The cat lifts the shark up and redirects it's meteors towards it.
"Woah that's quite strong," I exclaim looking to my fainted gible. "Sure is, it's made the tables turn" My opposing trainer smirks.
Flashback
"Let's have a bet! If I win you get anyone of my pokemon, I win you give me serenas heart!" Calem says self-assured.
"W-what!?" I say my heart in tears, "You heard!" He screeched "I love her too much to risk her" I say in between stutters.
"Battle me or I'll take victory" He continued
"That's not fair!" I point out
"Well I don't care, you've taken my princesses heart" He says his face red with rage.
"YOURS! SHE'S MINE! YOUR ON! YOU WONT WIN ANYWAY" I say half-heartedly
"Can't wait to be able to kiss her" He teases
Present time
"Gibles down!" The refferee announces.
I have two pokemon left, a slightly damaged pikachu and my froakie. Espurr is a psychic type so pikachu or froakie would be dealing neutral damags, however froakie knows a supereffective move.
I throw out froakie, "I have to do this for serena" I say quietly. "LICK! QUICK!" I order in determination.
"Counter with psychic!" Calem shouts.
Oh not this again, I need a tactic quick!
"Trap espurr with your froables after dodging! Then continue with the licks!" Espurr suffers a significant amount of damage resulting in it fainting. "You done good espurr. Now I only have this guy." Smirks calem as he throws out a quillaidn.
"Let's wrap this up quick!" He instructs.
"Woah a quillaidn " I exclaim. "Froakie we'll need to be strong to do this, ICE BEAM!"
"Crush the ice with rapid spin"
I stand shocked at the power.
"Frok?"
"Quilladin lift froakie above you using vinewhip then spin into it such as a homing attack"
I stand frozen, staring at the ruthless monster and his pokemon.
"Pika-pii?"
"Just come up pikachu so I can have serenas heart" Calem says with an enlarging grin
"Pikachu...volt tackle" I say my heart begining to break.
"Repeat quilladin!" The devil wearing simular clothes ot my own roars, as his partner grabs pikachu mid air slamming him full force into the ground.
My ears ring, silent and my eye site fades. However two words junps out to me; "Calem wins".
NOOOO ASH LOST AND SERENA'S HEART IS CALEMS!
*turns evil*
YOU WANNA THROW BUSES AT HIM!?
