I struggled to open my eyes. The sunlight was blinding and I gronaned. I blinked a few times, adjusting to the brightness of the room. I took in my surroundings.
I was back in my room....but, how? I thought we were on a mission. I remember injuring tons of guards in order to reach Victoria and.....
"Shit," I cursed as I sat up. Not just because of the pain in my arm and torso, but because I let myself get distracted by Luke. He was the reason for my pain; both physical and emotional. He hurt me so much. What he said really stung and I couldn't believe how much of a fool I've been. I really thought we had something special. All those moments felt real, but it felt much more like a dream. A dream that was never really there.
I was on a mission and I failed because of a boy. This has never happened to me before. I never failed before. Never. Then again, I never liked a guy before. Maybe I should have just focused on getting things done in the first place. Had I just stayed away from Luke and his friends, I wouldn't be in this situation. I wouldn't have boy problems. This was all new to me and I've had no experience dealing with this kind of shit.
I pushed back my covers and went to the bathroom. I was shocked with what I saw. A girl with dark tangled hair stood. Her eyes were puffy and dull. This girl was nothing like me. I was this independent girl who was always eager to discover new things and learn more about the world. Looking at my reflection, I looked like a fragile girl who got her heart broken by a stupid boy. I changed.
I looked down at my arm. It was bandaged and all that. The pain was there, but it was bearable. I'm guessing lost a lot of blood, that's why I passed out. My skin was pale and you could clearly see my veins. I sighed and stripped down all my clothing.
I took a long warm bath, scrubing every inch of my skin. I immediately relaxed by the water. After drying myself, I changed into a plain white shirt and my sweats. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail. I grabbed my laptop and walked towards the training room. I sat down on the mat and waited for Lily to accept my request to videochat with her. Once she did, I smiled at her.
"Adrianne! Oh my gosh. I heard about what happened. Are you okay? Have you eaten? Where is James?" She started asking question.
I supressed a smile. "I'm fine, I'm fine," I sighed. "I don't know where James is. Listen, I need your advice on something."
"Oh, sure, darling! Ask me anything. I'm all ears."
I told her all the things that has happened between Luke and I, only leaving out the part where we had out special moments. Or what I thought was special. She was a good listener. Nodding and asking questions momentarily.
"That boy was stupid for treating you like that! He doesn't deserve you." She exclaimed. "You know what? You need an extreme make-over. Show him what he lost." She said.
"Sure, but how?" I asked. I did not know anything about make-overs and make-up and stuff like that.
"I'm coming over. I don't have anything to do here anyway. I miss you and you really need a friend right now. I'll be there in a few hours." She signed off before I could even protest. Lily is just the best.
I stood up and put away the laptop. I walked over to the punching bag and started kicking it and punhing it. Putting out all my anger. I pictured it as a certain boy and soon enough, I felt like my old self again.

Lily told me she would come, but she didn't tell me she would be bringing people over. James was shocked to see Lily but was soon so happy when Lily pulled him into a hug.
"Those two will be a couple one day, I'm telling you." One of Lily's friends told me and I nodded. They definitely would.
Lily brought eight people over, explaining to James that this was an emergency. She then pulled me away and sat me in a chair in my room.
