Everything was just perfect until he figured out her background. She starts acting different towards him & Ezekiel wonders why she is doing such a thing. Zoe has two different perspectives of herself the positive & the negative, but she always seem to let the negative take over the positive. At this point Ezekiel put more effort into the relationship to help keep there bond steady. Any average guy would of ditched her but Ezekiel had faith & he believed their relationship could still work. She sends him a couple paragraph that was quite hurtful...she FRIEND ZONED him so she could clear her mind & get her self together. But by doing that the whole relationship between the two shot to hell, no more phone calls , they barely texted each other after that. Ezekiel question himself saying why is he still dealing with Zoe, that was a question that nobody could answer not even himself. He was kinda scared that she would find someone new after he already spilled his heart out to her & pop every vessel in his body to get the bond he had with her. He says "Am I good enough"? Will she forget about me"? That was the only neuron that was running through his brain. Ezekiel over thinks a lot so he knew they weren't ever gonna talk again. Couple weeks without talking to Zoe whenever Ezekiel tries to start a conversation she ignores him, he texts her phone she ignores him so he feels as if the mission is incomplete & that he should keep trying but who knows how she would react. She ask him a question & says why do you still care & all I ever do is be mean to you. It took him a few mins to think of an answer but he had knew it all along just didn't know how to word it.
