Ezekiel is starting to feel cold hearted again, he's back to disrespecting, ignoring & doing more things to people. One female that tried to use Vicki against him failed to accomplish her goal. He feel as though if u gotta use your body to help someone get attracted to you, that's a sign of being desperate. Guys continue to say "I care about you & I love you" but didn't exactly mean it they were just blinded by the power of Vicki. When this temporary distress occurred in Ezekiel's mind he suffered through it until he notice that it's not even worth it anymore. He's past the overthinking phase, he feel as though if the feelings were real she would come back but if not then it was all fiction. He notice that she was special to him but at the end of the day Ezekiel is feeling sorrow & guilt for something that wasn't his fault, & she's going on with her day smiling & enjoying life. He's fed up with trying, she probably found someone else anyway, the study of heartbreak is only a temporary feeling for Ezekiel, but in most people minds it is a permanent illness. Most people can't get over heart breaks it lasts for months or maybe years, people continue to say they love each other but leaves home to go on a date with Vicki. What is it called when u love someone dearly but still cheats on them ? Is it because you are tired of that person ? Do they meet your standards ? Their are questions no man can answer, woman can answer those questions but it is a response that a man doesn't want to hear..... that they weren't good enough for them.
