Ezekiel dreams of having a perfect life, stress free, bill free, a decrease in hatred, increase in positivity, but society is to stubborn to give in. When Ezekiel falls asleep that is his way of escaping reality & when he awakes from his fantasy he's back to the depression of facing his internal adversary in reality. Sleeping in vehicles was one of the main causes of his depression, eating, sleeping, laughing, & talking doing all of those things to help zone out the pain that he was feeling a the moment. 11 months of pain from sleeping in the car , from hotel to hotel, & others places. Lucy was on his back heavy around this time period, this is the period when Ezekiel has thoughts of killing himself everyday he wakes up. He felt as though if he ain't have bad luck he wouldn't have any luck at all. Yet nobody knew he was homeless he always kept a smile on his face was always laughing & giggling with Daryl & the other guys but when he sits alone he thinks about what he faces after school. Everyone talked about going home & doing this & that but their wasn't a home for Ezekiel to go to he goes straight to the car after school. Every night Ezekiel cried when nobody was around because he felt as if his life was over his adversary has defeated him, sitting in corners talking to himself because nobody wanna listen to the pain that his mind feeling. People questioned him about why he was always angry he replies you just don't know what I'm going through, & their response were boy what u going through with a smirk on their face. No one knows what people go through once they leave school grounds it could abuse, family problems, hunger, anything you never judge a book by it's cover because you would never know what you would discover.
