TA DAAA! :D

"You're me- mean!" I shuddered, in the cold water.
"No, I just like revenge." Jake winked, paddling his way near to me.
"That's mean!"
"Why were you laughing your heart out when I fell, then?
"I warned you!" I spurted out a small giggle since I couldn't control it. It was pretty funny.
"Well, you got to pay right?"
"Whatever," I muttered, swimming towards the shore.
Jake was still in the same place when I got out of the water. It seemed as if he was deep in thought.
"You coming?"
"Uhh, yeah." Jake mumbled making me scrunch my eyebrows. What was with the sudden mood change?
He got out and I was basically shivering the whole time Jake slipped his shirt on. He was staring at me the whole time but I pretended I didn't notice. I think he didn't want me to know he was looking at me.
I'm sorry Jake, but you're awfully obvious.
"Let's go?" Jake asked and offered his hand.
I smiled, taking it, and we walked out of the dark park, passing the black outlines of tall trees and bushy plants. There was a soft yellow glow from the street lights, the rest of the faint white light was the moon, which did actually looked bigger than usual.
Or was that my personal mirage or something for the date...
I glanced at Jake to see him looking around curiously at the new town. I smiled, realising how gorgeous he was, especially with this theme around us.
I accidentally shivered, breaking the soft moment. Dang it.
He looked down at me while my eyes were still locked to his face.
He had a small smiled impanted on his lips, having a little idea of me staring at him.
Woopsy.
After crashing out of his thoughts, I felt his hand leave mine. Instead of continuing with our way, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, embracing me into his warmth. I grinned, hugging his waist with my own arm, and started to walk further towards the house.
"Hey Jake?" I whispered.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks."
"For what?"
"I dunno, just everything I guess."
He chuckled lightly, "I didn't really do much."
"Whatever it is, it was enough."
"Well, I'm glad it made you happy." He smiled down to me and I felt him hold me tigher.
Oh it made me more than happy.

We reached the house and stopped near the front door.
"This is weird, we have to go in the same house since we're living together." I laughed.
"Dang Mel!" He whined playfully, "You ruined the moment!"
"Yeah, yeah."
"Well, I had a nice time."
"Me too."
"Let's go inside?"
I chuckled, "Come on."
