"Wh- What happened to Lucy? Is she alright?" I asked trying to calm down.
But how could I? This was Lucy we were talking about.
"She's getting sicker than she was and your aunt and uncle would like it if we visited." Dad replied quietly.
"As a goodbye?" I mumbled in a hushed tone, not sure how I can cope with all of this.
"I don't know but we should go. Start packing both of you. I want us to leave as soon as you get home tomorrow."
We nodded and headed upstairs to our own rooms. When I got in I grabbed a big duffle-bag out of my closet and started to pack some clothes.
My mind was still weakens around the fact that Lucy was was getting worse.
My Lucy.
Mum wanted to move away from hers and dad's hometown when only Max was born. Dad was against it but eventually agreed and shifted. Both, Mum and Dad, were born and raised in a small town. They met in High School and started to date until college. After they finished their studies, Dad popped the question and they got married.
I would seriously think their love story was a fairytale and something I wanted for my own if Mum hadn't left us. Dad was a Jock, Mum was a cheerleader. Dad would always like to tease her by making inappropriate jokes because Mum was all innocent and shy. They got together on a blind date once and that just started it. I still had some of the pictures that Dad threw away.
I remember exactly how I got them.

"Wh- what's going on Matt?" I asked looking up at my 8 year old brother when I saw my father go through photographs and throwing them across the room.
"Mommy is gone Melly."
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"Is daddy angry?"
"Yeah. He's really angry."
I nodded and spoke no more. I looked around and saw that Ty was sleeping on the floor. Jeremy was standing on the other side of Matt.
I glanced at Dad and saw a bottle in his hand.
"What's inside that bottle Matt?" I asked curious.
"I think its water."
I frowned, "Why is it in a glass bottle. We have a lot of plastic ones."
"I'm not sure. Maybe it's special kind of juice or something. It can be something adults drink to calm down."
I nodded. I really hope it's a special juice.
After a while we noticed Dad fall asleep. Matt laid himself down beside Ty and so did Jer.
"Come on, let's go to sleep." Jeremy told me.
I nodded and got myself to lie down beside them. When I was sure they were knocked out, I got up and walked around the room grabbing all of the photos that were scattered throughout the room.
I ran upstairs and hid them in my closet.
After getting back downstairs, I lied down again and fell asleep.

I shook my head out of my thoughts and placed the last of my shirts. I don't have time to reminisce all those great memories.
